The FBI raided his South Carolina home, whose wife died in a notorious suicide.
Bureau officials searched John Paul Miller’s Myrtle Beach home Friday, six months after he announced his wife Mica’s suicide in a bizarre sermon.
Officers told WBTW they conduct “court-approved law enforcement activities” at the lavish property, but declined to comment further.
Neighbors said they were told officers were there to execute a search warrant, with Miller believed not to be home when police arrived.

Pastor Jonathan Miller, left, had his Myrtle Beach home raided by the FBI on Friday, six months after the suicide of his wife Mica (Mica pictured right)
As the raid began, several trucks could be seen outside Miller’s home, with officers wearing uniforms that read “Evidence Response Team.”
They were seen putting on gloves and taking bags from one of the trucks as they prepared to enter the house.
Mica shot herself in April at Lumber River State Park in Robeson County, South Carolina.
Haunting surveillance footage showed her buying a gun at a pawn shop shortly before her death and then driving into the remote area where she took her own life.
There is no evidence that Miller was directly involved in his wife’s death.
But allegations of abuse and infidelity began to circulate shortly after he announced Mica’s death at Market Common Church.
In May this year, DailyMail.com revealed how Miller has a property portfolio worth at least $5.59 million, and a four-seat plane worth $430,000.
