Miami Dolphin’s All-Pro Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill made a bizarre confession on Thursday when he told reporters that he, instead of spending time watching films like most players, prefer to use Madden to scout his opponents.

‘I feel that Madden knows how good players are. So I just play Madden the night before and I’m just going to watch all their reviews, “said Hill.

‘So let’s say that they have Steve Nelson and Derek Stingley there, two phenomenal players, for example.

“I just go to the EA grilles, then I scroll down and see what their consciousness is, their speed and their strength, and that’s how I get a good picture of them.”

Hill probably referred to Nelson and Stingley because of the fact that Miami plays against Houston on Saturday in their second preseason match.

Although Hill’s alleged scouting strategy is anything but traditional, last season apparently performed wonders for him.

After he had set the NFL on fire with the Kansas City Chiefs for six years, where he caught 479 passes for 6,630 Yards and 56 Touchdowns, he might have the best season of his career in Miami last year.

Hill recorded career heights with 119 receptions and 1,710 Yards, together with seven touchdowns.

The 29-year-old seven-time Pro Bowler has traveled at least 1,000 yards in the NFL in five of his seven seasons.

Miami will certainly hope that Hill can continue to produce at a similar pace to create an offensive tandem with fellow fast WR Jaylen Waddle and Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa who will send the team on a deep run-up to the ‘postsason’.
