Home and Away star Bec Hewitt’s daughter Mia appears to be following in the actress’ footsteps.
The creative teenager, who has made headlines in recent weeks by performing with her indie rock band, has now been spotted on the set of the Channel Seven soap.
On Monday, 19-year-old Mia was seen on the set of Australia’s second longest-running TV series in Palm Beach – 26 years after her mother made it a household name.
Mia works in the wardrobe department and it seems that Mia’s main job is to carry around a large Bunnings umbrella to protect the cast members from the bright sun during their scenes.
Her mother Bec, 41, shot to fame after starring in Home and Away fan favorite Hayley Smith Lawson from 1998 to 2005.
In 2005, the tennis WAG married Lleyton Hewitt while several months pregnant with their eldest child, Mia.

In a circular moment, Mia has now returned to the set of Home and Away.
The teen dressed casually in jeans and a white shirt as she chatted with the film crew.
She completed her look with black boots and sunglasses as she ran through the park as the stars filmed their outdoor scenes.
In May 2005, Bec announced that she was leaving Home and Away ‘for personal reasons’, a week after announcing her pregnancy.
She said the decision had been difficult, but she found herself unable to continue with the role.
‘“I will always remember my days at Home and Away as the best of my life,” she said.
“But at such an important time in my life, I need more time and flexibility away from the daily demands of the production schedule.”
She filmed her final scenes in June of that year and remained on air until September 2005. More than 100 actresses auditioned to replace her in the role of Hayley.

She seemed happy and at ease with the other crew members, often smiling and chatting as she kept her umbrella handy.
During her break, the so-called ‘nepo baby’ turned her attention to her iPhone.
She juggled her phone and car keys in one hand and a disposable IGet vape in the other.
Mia’s parents Lleyton and Bec ruled the tabloids of the King and Queen of Australia for years.

However, her album received mixed reviews and her music career effectively came to an end in 2004 when she parted ways with the Warner Music label.
A source said this recently New idea Bec is keen to ensure that her daughter avoids the pitfalls that can befall new and inexperienced artists.
“Bec knows how to deal with bad people and unreliable managers, and doesn’t want Mia to make the mistakes she made early in her career, such as being too optimistic about certain jobs,” the source said.
