Met Gala 2024: Rita Ora goes nude in a barely-there bodysuit adorned with thousands of ancient beads as she hits the red carpet with husband Taika Waititi
Rita Ora left little to the imagination when she walked onto the Met Gala red carpet without underwear on Monday.
On her way to the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, the Body On Me singer, 33, put on a very daring show in a sheer nude bodysuit designed by MARNI.
Rita showed off her incredibly toned physique and flaunted her assets as she went braless in the revealing garment and arrived at the event with her husband Taika Waititi.
For Rita’s tenth appearance at the fundraiser, she put her figure on full display as a curtain of colorful beads barely hid her modesty.
The singing sensation revealed that the beads on the dress date back to the 1st and 2nd centuries BC and come from all over the world.

She told carpet presenters Gwendoline Christie and Ashley Graham: “I think some of these beads are older than people on the planet… It’s very heavy.”
To accessorize, Rita paired her striking look with a pair of nude heels and a gold bag.
She was seen leaving the Carlyle Hotel wearing a bizarre headpiece that appeared to have been discarded before she arrived at the star-studded event.
Rita looked fantastic as she styled her brunette locks into a short, wet-look bob to match her glossy make-up.
Taika also looked fantastic as he stepped out in a soft brown two-piece leather suit also designed by MARNI.
In keeping with his very tan ensemble, he teamed his look with a pair of matching boots, shirt and tie. To add to the glamour, he accessorized his unique look with a chunky diamond necklace.
The pair put on a very loving performance as Taika cheekily squeezed Rita’s bum as she posed for photos.
They also shared a quick hug before walking up the iconic stairs.

The Costume Institute’s Spring Exhibition falls on the first Monday in May each year and is held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City.
This year the event is called Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Bad Bunny and Chris Hemsworth are this year’s co-chairs. Vogue’s is also on the committee Anna Wintour.
The chairs of honor for the evening are Loewe creative director Jonathan Anderson and TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew.
“This year’s co-chairs reflect a variety of career achievements and each has their own style history at the Met Gala,” Vogue said.
The display will feature approximately 250 items from The Costume Institute’s permanent collection. Many of the pieces are too fragile to ever be worn again.

The pieces are all rendered using elements such as AI, GCI and more, while themes such as land, sea and sky are played out.
“It is very much an ode to nature and the emotional poetics of fashion,” says Andrew Bolton, Wendy Yu Curator responsible for The Costume Institute, about the upcoming exhibition.
“One thing I hope this show will activate is the sensory appreciation of fashion.”
Guests expected to attend include the Kardashians, Blake Lively, Hailey Bieber, Sarah Jessica Parker and Timothee Chalamet.
Gwendoline Christie, La La Anthony and Ashley Graham will host, while YouTuber Emma Chamberlain is expected to interview stars on the red carpet.
Last year’s gala honored the late designer Karl Lagerfeld.
