Özil has been busy hitting the gym since retiring from professional football last year, following a glittering career at some of the world’s biggest clubs.
The 35-year-old has dedicated his retirement to the gym and has made impressive progress in that time. His intense gym workouts over the past few months have even impressed the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, which he has shared on social media.
Ozil has been working with a personal coach to build muscle, with the former Arsenal midfielder completely transforming his body from the slimmer build he adopted when he was a player.
The workouts were clearly focused on building muscle, with Özil showing off his impressive six-pack, biceps, chest and shoulders in his most recent update.
