Men use AI as wingmen on dating apps to score dozens of dates a month: ‘I hooked up with a bad guy within 24 hours’

Men who complain that dating apps favor women are now using AI to ‘level the playing field’ – by creating irresistible pick-up lines.

DailyMail.com spoke to Paul, 30, and Eddi, 20, from Florida, who use chatbots as ‘wingmen’ to generate entire conversations that they claim can lead to up to five dates a week.

The singles use apps like Rizz and MGAI that are specifically designed as dating tools that follow text prompts — you can tell the AI to write a message “with the charm of Leonardo DiCaprio.”

Paul told DailyMail.com: ‘The first day I used the AI, I matched with a bad guy, got a response, scored a date and we connected – all in less than 24 hours.’

Paul, 30, used AI ‘wingman’ apps to generate openers. He told DailyMail.com that the ‘odds are against you as a man’ and that attractive women will get 100 matches a day, making it a ‘numbers game’ for men

“I have a hundred better things to do than use my brain to come up with a witty line that will most likely go to a 16-year-old Indian boy pretending to be a pretty girl so he can scam me out of twenty dollars,” Paul said. , who is from Miami.

Alexandr Zhadan, 23, matched with 5,000 women on Tinder and used a modified version of the AI software to narrow it down to a shortlist of 100 who he then dated.

‘Or to get a twenty percent chance of an answer that usually doesn’t go anywhere.

“Dating apps are a means to an end for me, so whatever I can do to get better results while minimizing exposure to their toxic, dopamine-hijacking streams, I will do it.”

Paul said he used apps, including MGAI and Wing, to generate openers and send follow-ups.

He also explained that the MGAI (Message Game AI) app can be fine-tuned to generate openers that do the job.

“Like many AI tools, it requires rapid engineering to get a good line out of it,” says Paul.

‘For example, I have a text fragment that I use for texting that says: ‘Write with the charm of Leo Dicaprio and the nonchalance of Jake Paul. Text like a teenager on Snapchat. Avoid punctuation. no emojis. Don’t be lame.’

He said such cues produce a “slacker opener” within “two to three seconds.”

Paul claimed he can now arrange four to five dates a week by texting for ten minutes twice a day.

‘I don’t always do that much, but it is much more efficient. And now I have a surplus, so I can arrange more dates than I need and pick up when I’m busy or less down,” he continued.

Although most women Paul meets are not averse to him seeking help from software, but for example he recalled his date being furious after he found out – but she used a fake photo on her profile.

“Last Thursday I went on a date to a wine bar and got catfished, so a bad start,” he told DailyMail.com.

“She randomly started complaining about AI. Anyway, I told her that texting girls on apps is a waste of time, so I used AI to do it for me.

“She turned around for a moment, got salty and said it was immoral and that I was catfishing her.

“I told her that’s completely ridiculous because guys always ask their friends to help them text.

Eddie said Rizz has completely changed his approach to dating

Eddie also explained that Rizz helps him generate “icebreakers.”

“I also pointed out that she uses AI to enhance her appearance every day when she uses filters on IG.”

Paul then snuck into the restroom and asked AI what the most polite way to tell someone to leave a date is.

Eddie, 20, uses another app, Rizz, to write chat rules for online dating.

‘The online dating world can be very rough. Endless swiping, lame intros and ghosting: I was so close to deleting the apps,” he said.

The Rizz analyzes the context of conversations and provides pre-written suggestions on how the user would typically respond.

The platform’s website states that users upload screenshots of conversations with their match and the potential partner’s biography, and the AI ”gives you funny, smart and witty responses that your match won’t be able to resist.”

“Rizz tailored his suggestions to complement my specific voice and vibe, rather than just conjuring up generic one-liners or opening lines.

“It brought back a human element to dating apps that we normally only experience in real life.”

Eddie said Rizz allowed him to “break through” in conversations and find dates – and has “changed his approach to dating.”

How ‘AI Wingman’ apps work

Rizz has four million users and has generated more than 50 million messages for men hoping to find dates.

Founder Roman Khaves told DailyMail.com that many dating app users struggle to find openers — and said, “Hey,” that just doesn’t cut it.

Rizz uses an AI model tailored to dating, with input from dating experts.

“We have dating coaches, both women and men, who help train the model, experts in this field,” Khavfes said.

‘Rizz improves over time thanks to user feedback. So the more people use it, the more data we get about what type of models really work.

“So every time you get a response, and if you copy a certain response, or if you adapt it, if you want to tell us, okay, make this a little bit funny or witty, or make this a little bit different, we’ll get that data and that helps us train our models.’

‘Ice White’, founder of MGAI, created his app after writing an online dating guide called ‘The Message Game’ – and based it on his own advice.

“MGAI, short for Message Game AI, is the AI wingman for online dating,” he said.

“There are so many guys who don’t know how to message women in a way that actually gets them dates, and MGAI solves this problem by using artificial intelligence to read people’s screenshots from any Tinder, Instagram or other messaging platform and return suggested responses, based on what actually works.

‘It all started when I put together a simple Google Docs guide analyzing my own Tinder messages in 2018, which was shared like wildfire and became super popular overnight.

‘The book became quite a hit in the dating community, which then led to me releasing a product where people would send me their screenshots so I could let them know exactly what to say next. The problem was that this became almost a 24/7 job, and I was also limited to the number of people I could do this for. Finally, in late 2022, ChatGPT got everyone excited about artificial intelligence, and in one week I had multiple readers of my book suggest they collaborate with me to create an AI version of my book and, well, of to make myself.

“There aren’t many things better than receiving messages from users telling me that they got a date within days or even hours of using MGAI. Some boys have managed to get a girlfriend because of this.’
