She said she was shocked to find out how many men she would catch trying to cover their tracks while buying jewelry
In the original clip, which has been viewed more than 1.7 million times, Sarah wasted little time in turning her thoughts away.
‘The number of men I’ve caught cheating on their partners through jewelry sales is absolutely insane.
“So after graduating I decided I was going to work at a jewelry store.
‘I was personally on the sales team and everyone has heard that men buy two separate pieces of jewelry at a jeweler [if they are cheating].
“I didn’t believe this was a thing until I worked there for about a month.”
The first indicator she noticed was that men were buying two separate pieces of jewelry, instead of one set, as people would normally do.
While men claimed that their wives only liked yellow gold jewelry, they bought white gold chains out of the blue – which was clearly for their secret lovers.
“You could tell this wasn’t for his wife because his behavior would completely change,” she added.

“The number of men I’ve caught cheating on their significant others through jewelry sales is absolutely insane,” she said.
‘He started looking around. He started to stutter his words. He would say: ‘Yes, put that on the bill too, she will really like that.’
She said men often asked for the items to be wrapped individually. She concluded, “At the end of every transaction, I would shake my customer’s hand and guess who was sweatiest – ‘Cheater McGee.’
Sarah then posted a follow-up clip in response to the widespread interest in her insight.
She began by claiming that another telltale sign would be men using two cards for two separate purchases in an attempt to cover their tracks.
In an attempt to catch men by interrogating them, Sarah found that the secret tricksters struggled to come up with a reason why they wanted to pay separately.
Her final indicator was when men tried to “pull the daughter card.”
The content creator explained, “Don’t get me wrong, many men bought jewelry for their daughters, but this was different.

‘I would ask them questions about their daughter. I know some people don’t want all their information there, but I was just having a casual conversation while we were going through the transaction and asking about family you were trained to have.
“So I would ask, ‘How old is your daughter? She’s 13. Oh god, that’s incredible. So when was she born – what year was that? When’s her birthday? January 8?’
“Oh my god, you should get her a birthstone necklace, maybe not these diamond earrings for a 14-year-old girl, but maybe we’ll just give her a little birthstone.”
