The heiress of Memphis billionaire Eliza Fletcher died of a gunshot wound to the back of her head and blunt force trauma, an autopsy report has confirmed.

The mother of two was abducted and violently bundled into the back of an SUV at 4:30 a.m. on Sept. 2 while jogging.

Convicted felon Cleotha Abston-Henderson, 38, has been charged with kidnapping and murdering the 34-year-old after allegedly forcing her into his GMC grounds.

Her disappearance sparked a four-day search that led officers to several wooded areas in Memphis.

She was discovered down the stairs of a dilapidated one-storey building just yards from where police last saw the vehicle she was forced into.

A bloodstain was left at the bottom of the stairs next to the patch of earth where her body was found, with flies still roaming the area and locals reported a ‘stench of decay’.

The autopsy report was released Thursday by the West Tennessee Forensic Center, according to ABC24 Memphis.

The report found that she died of a gunshot wound and a blunt head wound. Her way of death was ruled as murder.

At the time Fletcher, an elementary school teacher, was found, her body was in a moderate to advanced state of decomposition.

A toxicology report also revealed that 10 ng/ml fentanyl was found in Fletcher’s system, according to Action5News.
