Memphis Depay wants to return to Manchester United, where he was previously a player between 2015 and 2017.
The 28-year-old Memphis played 33 games for the Red Devils during that stretch, scoring twice, before moving to Lyon.
On the Ligue 1 side, the Dutch striker moved to Barcelona in 2021, where he made 30 caps for the Catalan giants.

However, his playing time under Xavi has been limited this season, especially after the arrival of Robert Lewandowski at the Camp Nou.
Now, Spanish outlet Sport claims the striker is looking forward to a return to Old Trafford. after six years away from the north of England.
Memphis’ current contract at Camp Nou expires in the summer, when he would be allowed to leave for free, but Barcelona are hoping to make some money by getting rid of their unwanted player in the winter transfer window.

There is now a strong belief that he could return with a second Dutch manager, ten Hag, as they look to replace a hole in their squad left behind by Ronaldo’s acrimonious departure late last year.
