Melonba, western Sydney: Horror as man found dead on footpath near Mount Druitt

A man has died on a footpath outside a house in Sydney’s west, with shocking footage showing a pool of blood staining the concrete.

The grim discovery was made at around 8.45pm on Friday when emergency services called to Georgina Crescent in Melonba, near Mount Druitt.

Despite the efforts of first responders, the man, who was found unconscious on the sidewalk, could not be resuscitated.

He is believed to be in his 30s but has yet to be formally identified.

Officers from the Mount Druitt Police Area Command cordoned off a crime scene and arrested another man nearby, who is assisting police with their investigation.
