Melissa McCarthy shows off dramatic weight loss in a corset after sparking Ozempic debate

Melissa McCarthy showed off her sexy new curves as she dressed in a black and brown Viking costume with corsets for an appearance on Live with Kelly and Mark Tuesday.

The actress, 54, who celebrated her 19th wedding anniversary with husband Ben Falcone, 51, earlier this month, wore an orange, red and green floral top with a fur stole and a metal dragon on one shoulder.

She and Falcone walked arm in arm to the studio where they were promoting their latest project, the Hildy the Barback and the Lake of Fire podcast.

The two-time Oscar nominee, who said she has lost about 70 pounds through diet and exercise, gracefully shrugged off a question from 82-year-old friend Barbra Streisand, who in May accidentally sparked a viral debate about started taking weight loss medications.

In response to photos shared on Instagram, the entertainment icon wrote, “Give Him My Greetings,” referencing a photo of McCarthy with director Adam Shankman.

Then she added, “have you taken Ozempic?” Streisand quickly deleted the comment and later publicly apologized.

McCarthy laughed off the question with a sweet video online in which she told her fans, “The takeaway: Barbra Streisand knows I exist. She contacted me and she thought I looked great! I win the day.’

As for the new podcast, the scripted comedy was written by Falcone, who also suited up for his appearance on the morning show.

The actor, who provides the voice of Urgrall the Horned, looked terrifying in a brown and black coat with a furry cape over his shoulders and a large buckle belt around his waist.

His shirt had the look of chain metal and he added a modern touch by wearing brown sneakers.

The audio show follows Hildy, played by McCarthy, as she and her friends embark on a quest to save the world after the land of Golgorth is threatened by an evil force that wants to burn the place down.

The comedy couple called on several of their famous friends to take part in the production including; Octavia Spencer, Glenn Close, Allison Janney, Joel McHale and Jim Rash.

Their daughters, Vivian, 17, and Georgette, 14, also participate, playing a two-headed oracle.

‘There are works of art [for] how the world [looks] and they have these bald blue heads and [Vivian and Georgette] were like, “Oh yeah, let’s do that,” McCarthy told Kelly and Mark.

“So they came in. They’re really good, but they’re so weird. We were like, ‘This is amazing.'”

McCarthy and Falcone’s outfits might inspire some fans to don their Vikings for Halloween, but the pair told Kelly and Mark that they aren’t big fans of the holiday.

“We don’t really get it,” the Unfrosted actress said. ‘I know, I can do it for a character, but to just say, “I’m going to dress up as a doctor!”, I don’t know how to do that [it].’

“I’m more like, ‘I’m a guy named Chuck!'” Falcone joked. ‘I’m a man named Chuck! He’s at the pharmacy!’

Their daughters have already made plans for trick or treating. ‘Georgie goes as Mr. Bobinsky from Coraline, with the really skinny legs and belly. And then Vivian goes as Flynn Ryder [from Tangled]she explained, adding, “And Reese, her friend, goes as Rapunzel… they love it.”
