Melissa McCarthy is ultra-stylish as she steps out in London in a silky floral gown and bright yellow platforms ahead of the release of The Little Mermaid
Melissa McCarthy was spotted on a night out in London on Tuesday night after the UK premiere of The Little Mermaid on Monday.
The Ghostbusters star, 52, looked stunning in a silky blue and yellow floral dress with bright yellow platform heels.
She was carrying a clutch-style royal blue handbag and her brown hair was straight and fell over her back.
The Mike and Molly alum was accompanied by an unknown male friend with heavily tattooed arms.
The actress transformed into the sea witch Ursula for the live-action version of The Little Mermaid, which hits theaters on Friday, May 26.

The Tammy actress accessorized her look with a pair of silver dangle earrings.
Her make-up consisted of dark-rimmed, smoky eyes and bright, berry-colored lips.
The performance comes after the cast of the highly anticipated live-action remake of the 1989 animated film attended the premiere at the Odeon Luxe Cinema in Leicester Square.
While Melissa plays the classic Disney villain in the movie, she looked anything but villainous on the red carpet in a floor-length fuchsia frilly dress and layered silver necklaces.
The Heat actress paired her look with a pair of metallic pink platform boots.
Ursula’s makeup in the film was inspired by the late drag queen Divine, as was Melissa’s performance.
There’s a drag queen living inside of me. I’m always on the verge of working with her full-time,” she shared Weekly entertainment last month.
Melissa sings Ursula’s anthem, Poor Unfortunate Souls, in the film and added that accepting a singing role was “great fun.”

“I’ve just always been so strangely in love with Ursula that I thought I could try and lose, but if I don’t at least try, I’ll regret it forever.”
She also said that she has always felt that Ursula was based on Divine. “I was like, ‘That’s someone enjoying some Divine and some John Waters.’ That’s all we looked at at the university.’
And she took a deep dive into Ursula’s personality and motivation, saying, “She’s been put in this hole. It’s like she’s had too many martinis alone. Her friends are eels,’ Melissa explained.
“That’s a woman who saw it, sat in it, dug her way out. All my references are terrible, but I kept thinking, “Pall Mall man had this woman.”‘
