Melissa Doyle shares rarely-seen photos of daughter Talia as she promotes World Vision’s International Day of the Girl campaign
Melissa Doyle shared rare pictures of her daughter Thalia visiting Kenya.
Taking to Instagram on Wednesday to raise awareness of the International Day of the Girl Child, journalist Seven, 53, shared cute photos of herself and her daughter, 19, playing with Kenyan children.
With her long blonde hair and beaming smile, Talia looked like the spitting image of her mother as she joined her in Kenya and partied with the locals.
Beneath the series of happy snaps, Doyle wrote the caption, saying International Day of the Girl is “a chance to highlight the challenges girls face around the world – and to work together to improve our lives.”
Melissa further informed her followers that child marriage has more than doubled since the pandemic and that World Vision’s sponsorship can help educate and advocate for voiceless girls.

At the time, Melissa told The Daily Telegraph she felt sad watching her daughter “miss out” on these rites of passage during endless days of house arrest.
The mother-of-two said it was also unfortunate that her son Nicholas had to spend his break from college in America living in isolation in Sydney.
