A group of Melbourne eshays have been caught on CCTV footage dining and eating a $500 order.

Old School Pizza & Stone Grill in Coburg posted the video to TikTok — which has since gone viral — showing 12 teens eating a huge order in the outdoor dining room earlier this month.

The clip shows the twelve boys ordering and eating their meals on October 8 just after 8:30 p.m. and then slipping out through the scaffolding gate one by one – before the last eshay runs away.

The restaurant’s owner, Kamal Soueid, said none of them paid for their food, which cost him about $500.

“In the seven years we’ve been here, nothing like this has ever happened,” said Mr Soueid.

The restaurant Coburg, which has more than 120,000 followers on TikTok, posted the video to its account which has since gone viral with more than 1.5 million views.

Mr Soueid said the family business does not charge people until they have finished eating to ensure they are “happy and satisfied”.

“They had come in and although we were fully booked, we made room for them. We served them and they ordered what they wanted,” he said.

“It was a target and a total disregard for something or someone.”

The owner has since reported the group to the police, who informed him that they are known for eating and running out of other restaurants.

“When the first boy got up, he looked around as if to get something from the shop across the street,” Mr. Soueid said.

“I think he was testing us to see if we were watching.

“Looks like some guys were planning to run away and it seemed like the other guys were thinking, ‘Sh*t I better run too, I don’t want to be left alone.’

Comments on the video denounce the teens’ behaviour, with one parent saying they would bring their son back if he did the same.

“Sorry you had to go through this. By trusting people and doing good and not taking money in advance, people took advantage of that. Scums,” commented one TikTok user.

‘Good luck catching them. Hopefully someone recognizes them and informs the police,” another replied.
