Three teenage boys have been charged after an alleged knife attack in a busy shopping center left shoppers screaming in fear.
The shocking alleged attack was caught on camera Thursday at the Pacific Werribee stores in Hoppers Crossing, west Melbourne.
The dramatic footage shows three teenagers approaching a hooded boy as crowds of shoppers walk past the group.
Suddenly, one of the three allegedly waves a knife at the boy at least three times, while the other defends himself with a bag and a shocked mother screams out.

The alleged attack was caught on camera (pictured) on Thursday at the Pacific Werribee stores in Hoppers Crossing, west Melbourne.
The allegedly armed teenager then chases the other around the mall level while his two friends try to stop him.
He pushes them away and reportedly continues to chase the other boy as frightened shoppers scream and take cover.
A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital with minor injuries, while three 16-year-old boys were charged with assault, recklessly causing injuries, theft and weapons offences.
The suspected perpetrators initially fled on foot before three boys later turned themselves in, police said.
The trio has been released on bail to appear before a children’s court at a later date.
