Horror attack at Melbourne train station as random stranger pushes woman onto the tracks then flees

Police are investigating after a woman was pushed onto train tracks by an unknown person, who then fled the scene.
The woman was rescued at 3.50pm on Wednesday by bystanders who jumped onto the tracks and pulled her back to the platform at Richmond Station in Melbourne.
Victoria Police say the woman was allegedly pushed onto the tracks by an unknown man.
He has not yet been found.
Sky News reporter Simon Love was there when the woman was pushed and he wrote on X that Good Samaritans saved her.
‘Good Samaritans went on the trail [and] lifted her up before she received medical attention,’ He wrote.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene for her injuries, which were not life-threatening, before she was taken by ambulance to Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

Mr Love reported the incident to police and said other commuters told him they ‘at least one other person waiting on the platform pushed.
