The men allegedly robbed several businesses with a machete in Werribee, in the Melbourne suburbs, before giving police a wild chase.
Officers initially called off the high-speed chase, which was live-streamed by those in the getaway car, saying it was too dangerous.
Police later spotted the alleged robbers at a gas station and engaged in a second pursuit, which ended with a Hyundai hatchback crashing into a pole.
