Boy, 10, fighting for life after getting hit by car in Melbourne suburb of Mulgrave
A boy has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a car while crossing the street.
The 10-year-old was hit by a car at a zebra crossing at Police Road and Hansworth Street in Mulgrave, Melbourne, at 4.30pm on Friday.
Paramedics were called to the location before an air ambulance took him to the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne.

Multiple The eastbound and westbound lanes on Police Road were closed on Friday evening and Victorian Police are urging all motorists to avoid the area.
Traffic is being diverted through the car park, according to a warning from VicTraffic.
The police have started an investigation into how the boy was hit.
