Ms Scale’s family said she never complained about her cancer diagnosis and that her dying wish was for people to donate blood.

“She was determined and strong and had such grace to face the most difficult year of her life with such acceptance, optimism and vulnerability,” they said, The Herald Sun reported.

‘Sian was very generous, loving, kind, fun, adventurous and humble.’

Her family said she was an advocate for social justice and gender issues and served as a mentor to other young women entering the fashion industry.

Mrs Scale’s final message was: ‘If anyone wants to do anything in my memory, it is to donate blood – it is the gift of life.’

Chadwick Models shared a heartfelt tribute to the 28-year-old on Wednesday.

“It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of our beautiful model Sian Scale,” the agency wrote.

“She was much loved by our Chadwick team, our models, her international agents and clients.

“Sian was a bright and unique light in our world who marched unapologetically to her own beat.

“We will all miss her more than words can express, and her incredible work in images will immortalize her forever.”

Mrs. Scale is remembered by her parents and two brothers.
