Melbourne Fashion Week: Aussie TikTok stars ‘demanding front-row seats’
Aussie TikTok influencers ‘demand front row seats at Melbourne Fashion Week’
Australia’s leading TikTok influencers are said to be demanding front row seats at Melbourne Fashion Week.
Social media stars are calling their agents and demanding they sit right next to the runway this week or they won’t be there at all, reports the Announce sun.
The FROW is mostly populated by A-listers invited by fashion designers and wearing their clothes.
But this year, TikTok influencers are expected to have a front row seat in a major cultural shift for the fashion festival.
Monday’s catwalk will feature contemporary Australian designers such as Aje, Van Der Kooij, Nevenka and Leo Lin.

TikTok stars like Katherine Denton, Eloise Mumme and Silk Cartwright are expected to attend Melbourne Fashion Week.
Meanwhile, Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell) is about to return to the catwalk after a six-year hiatus.
The 31-year-old said last week she was excited for the Fashion Illuminated exhibition on March 11 at the Royal Exhibition Building.
“It feels like a really authentic fit to me because it’s not just a walk down the catwalk, there was a give-back aspect,” she told the Herald Sun.
“I started modeling when I was 17 and won Miss Universe when I was 18, so it’s been a long time and there’s been so much growth.

Jesinta’s return to the runway comes after she and husband Buddy Franklin found a buyer for their multi-million dollar Sydney home.
Todd Greenberg, the former NRL CEO who is now the head of the Australian Cricketers’ Association, took possession of the first-class property with his wife Lisa.
The eastern suburbs apartment went up for sale last November with a price range of $5 million to $5.5 million.
Greenberg and his wife paid nearly $5 million in a private deal that was closed before the auction date.
