Melbourne Cup: Tim Robards flaunts his muscles while getting race-day ready

Bachelor Tim Robards couldn’t resist filming a thirst quencher for Instagram as he geared up for the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday morning.

The chiropractor, 40, demonstrated his Adonis-esque physique in a short video filmed in his hotel bathroom before the race that stops the nation.

He wore only a towel around his waist at the beginning of the clip, before hitting the camera and returning in a suit and boots, ready for a day at the Birdcage.

His Melbourne Cup look included a floral shirt, salmon tie and beige suit.

Tim’s cheeky video was a sponsored post for Handsome Skincare, of which he is an ambassador.

“I thought I’d bring the big guns for Melbourne Cup and put on a mask,” he wrote in the caption. “Side effects can include smooth, polished and glowing skin.”

The father of one of them is likely to attend the Melbourne Cup at Flemington Racecourse with his wife Anna Heinrich.

Tim recently celebrated his 40th birthday with a glamorous yacht party in Sydney Harbour.

He fell in love with Anna, 36, during the first season of The Bachelor in 2013. They married in Italy in 2018 and welcomed daughter Elle in November 2020.

Anna told Stellar magazine in June that the couple hoped to conceive their second child before the end of the year.

She said there was a good chance her next pregnancy could be twins, which run in her family.

“My grandmother was twins, and this is something I’ve never talked about, but I was twins,” she revealed, adding that her twin unfortunately died in the womb.
