A Melbourne Cup racer has shocked the internet after a video of her licking an escalator railing went viral on TikTok.
Drunk Jamie-lee McCabe, 30, from nearby Kensington, was filmed by her brother Luke Peffer as the couple rode up the escalator at Flemington Racecourse on Tuesday.
Holding a can of Smirnoff Double Black, her phone and a vape while dressed in a classy Cup dress and fascinator, Mrs. McCabe sticks her tongue out for the camera.
She then leans down and licks the railing for about seven seconds, to the horror of the racers around her, as a male voice says, “We’re going to party—party hard.”

“I think I licked the side of it,” Ms McCabe told the Daily Mail Australia on Thursday.
“I had black glans in my mouth at the end, so I think it was part of the railing as well.
“If I had my way again, I would have steered completely clear of the railing and just licked the side.”

“I’m still recovering,” she admitted.
“I’ve been to the Melbourne Cup before and other races and my behavior is still the same.
“I mean, I thought this was pretty quiet…”
Truck driver’s 23-year-old brother, Luke, posted the video with the caption: “Sister told me she was only going to get a few, then this happened.”
He added to the Daily Mail Australia on Thursday: ‘She survived, but I think the alcohol killed her more than the railing.’
