Melanie Hamrick has revealed what her Rolling Stones boyfriend Mick Jagger really thinks of her racy romances.
The 37-year-old author has written her second ballet-based romance novel and admitted she finds sex scenes the “easiest” part of her stories to write.
Melanie released her first book First Position last year, described as a ‘ballet bonkbuster’, while her second book is called The Unraveling.
Speaking with The Times and as she was listing the vocabulary she used for sexy scenes, she said, ‘Thrusting, throbbing, pulsating. Go to the thesaurus. That’s what Mick said – he said something like, ‘Thrusting was used a lot in book two.’
The former dancer and choreographer added that it was Mick himself who initially encouraged her to start writing books.

Melanie explained: ‘I was like, ‘I want to write a book. I want to write a book.’ And then he finally said, ‘Oh my God, write the book!”
She is a former ballerina with the American Ballet Theatre, from which she retired in 2019 after fifteen years.
She added of writing sex scenes: “It’s like choreographing a dance. It’s a movement and I write movements.”
In the interview, she also spoke openly about the large age difference between them, saying that she just “doesn’t think about it” and that she accepts that everyone has their own opinion and that it’s fine as long as she doesn’t hurt anyone.
In 2016, Melanie gave birth to their son Deveraux ‘Devi’ Jagger. It was her first child and Mick’s eighth.
Sir Mick has eight children and is the father of Karis, 53 (by Marsha Hunt); Jade, 52 (by Bianca Jagger); Lizzie, 40, James, 38, Georgia May, 32, and Gabriel, 26 (by Jerry Hall); Lucas, 24 (by Luciana Gimenez Morad) and Deveraux.
This comes after the singer’s girlfriend Melanie shared a sweet birthday greeting for his 81st birthday earlier this summer.
The former ballet dancer posted a bunch of gorgeous family snaps to celebrate the singer’s special day, posing alongside their son.
Another photo shows the American choreographer buttoning Mick’s shirt as the couple get ready for a fancy evening.
“Congratulations sweetheart!! We love you ,” she captioned her latest Instagram post.
In one photo, the loved-up couple posed for a selfie in the mirror, both dressed in elegant outfits, while Mick gently placed a hand on Melanie’s waist.
She was the picture of class in a bejeweled black midi dress, while the rock legend wore a suit.
This was followed by a touching photo of Mick holding his son’s hand backstage before taking the stage.
In another selfie, they pose beaming with happiness with Deveraux, who proudly wore a black Rolling Stones baseball cap.
The Rolling Stones icon and the former ballerina first met in February 2014, when they were both on tour at a Stone concert.
They only became closer when the singer later invited Melanie to accompany him to the rock band’s performance in Zurich.
Although they never married, they have been happily dating for ten years and welcomed Deveraux in December 2016.
