Stella Banderas is engaged to her childhood sweetheart.
On Monday, the daughter of Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas announced that she has accepted a proposal from Alex Gruszynski.
And the 27-year-old Los Angeles native also posted several photos from her past with Alex, even from when she was in elementary school with her childhood sweetheart.
The Instagram photos show that they were just little kids when they first bonded.
Stella – whose grandmother is Tippi Hedren from the film The Birds – also held up her left hand to show off Alex’s diamond engagement ring.
“I get to hang out with my favorite person on the planet forever!!!!!!!!” Stella wrote in her caption, while her mom Melanie added in the comments, “I love you both so much!! Congratulations again!!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️”

Alex isn’t in the film industry like Stella’s parents. He’s the founder of NOVA Community, which is “for creatives and those who hire them.”
Melanie and Antonio started their relationship in 1996 during the filming of their film Two Much.
Melanie later starred in her husband’s directorial debut, 1999’s Crazy In Alabama, which also marked Stella’s first film role.
In June 2014, she filed for divorce from Antonio after 18 years of marriage.
Melanie’s youngest child is the half-sister of Alexander Bauer and Dakota Johnson, from her marriages to Steven Bauer and Don Johnson, respectively.
Although the former couple divorced six years ago, they are still close. Antonio, 61, says Melanie will always be a part of his life because they shared so many “wonderful years” together and have their “wonderful daughter” Stella together.
In a TV show ‘El Break de las 7’ he said: ‘I think we are both reluctant to bury 20 years of marriage. We are human, we make mistakes and that is the human condition. You have to put the egos aside and not want to prove that you are right or find out who is guilty of what. Because it could be both or neither. There comes a time when things are over and you have to accept it.

“The life I had with Melanie was beautiful. We had 20 wonderful years where we did our best and had wonderful moments that I will never forget. We had a wonderful daughter that we both love and that is the end result of our relationship, the most beautiful thing we have ever done together,” he added.
In 2021, Stella has filed a request to remove “Griffith” from her name, according to legal documents obtained by The explosion.
The actress wants to “shorten” her name to Stella Del Carmen Banderas “by removing the extra last name.”
“I normally do not use ‘Griffith’ when referring to myself or in documents,” she explained in her documents about why she made the request.
She added: ‘So if I were to leave the name out, that would fit in with my normal usage.’
The woman with dual Spanish and American nationality was raised largely out of the spotlight, but last week attended the 69th San Sebastian International Film Festival at the Kursaal Palace with her father.
Stella’s choice seems to have nothing to do with her relationship with her mother, who recently received a sweet birthday present from her two daughters.
The Night Moves star shared a photo of her dining room, which was filled with gold balloons that read “Mama.”
“I love my daughters ♥️,” Melanie captioned the photo from her birthday party.

Melanie has been busy in recent years with a recurring role on the reboot of Hawaii Five-0 and small roles in The Pirates Of Somalia and the Oscar-nominated series Disaster Artist.
The Something Wild star’s family has also had a few flourishing years.
Her daughter Dakota starred in the cosmic horror film Wounds earlier this year, followed by the heartwarming drama The Peanut Butter Falcon starring Shia LaBeouf and Bruce Dern.
Her ex-girlfriend Don starred in the critically acclaimed and financially successful thriller Knives Out and in the first season of the hit HBO series Watchmen.
Antonio also received some of the best reviews of his career for Pedro Almodóvar’s autumnal Pain And Glory.
Last year, Antonio said that he still talks a lot to his ex-wife Melanie and that she will always be part of his “family.”
