Melania Trump to tell her story in ‘intimate’ memoir

Former first lady Melania Trump released a memoir this fall, “Melania,” which her office is billing as “a powerful and inspiring story of a woman who forged her own path, overcame adversity and defined personal excellence.” It is the first memoir from Trump, who has been largely absent as her husband, former President Donald Trump, tries to return to the White House.

“Melania” is published by Skyhorse Publishing, which has published supporters of Donald Trump, including former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani and attorney Alan Dershowitz.

Skyhorse has also worked with third-party candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Trump insider Michael Cohen, who later became one of his fiercest critics. Some Skyhorse books feature forewords by Trump ally Steve Bannon.

Melania Trump’s memoir was announced by her office on Thursday, but no specific release date was given or whether it would be released before Election Day in November.

Trump has been the subject of books before, including one by former adviser Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, but she has never before told her own story in detail.

Donald Trump has criticized the president’s address to the nation as “barely comprehensible.”

The Republican candidate used his Truth Social app to criticize the performance of Joe Biden, whom he followed from his private jet ‘Trump Force One’.

“The corrupt Joe Biden’s speech at the White House was barely audible and so bad!” he posted shortly after his speech on Wednesday.

His review came after Biden addressed the nation for the first time since announcing his decision to withdraw from the election race.

But Trump was clearly not impressed with his message, as he followed up his first message with another message also attacking the vice president.

President Joe Biden muttered during his 11-minute farewell address to the nation that he could have served four more years if he had wanted to.

Biden, 81, spoke softly, sometimes haltingly and hoarsely as he explained his surprise decision not to seek re-election.

The president said he chose to “pass the torch” to Vice President Kamala Harris because it was time for “younger voices” and he believed it would “unite” the country and “save” democracy.

Biden stared intently into the camera during his primetime speech, sitting behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office.

He said, “I believe my record as president, my leadership in the world, and my vision for America’s future all warrant a second term.

“But nothing, absolutely nothing, can stand in the way of saving our democracy. And that includes personal ambition. That’s why I decided that the best way to move forward is to pass the torch to a new generation.”

He added: ‘There is a time and a place for long years of experience in public life. There is also a time and a place for new voices, fresh voices. Yes, younger voices.’

Biden did not respond to questions about his own age, health and mental acuity, issues that have plagued his presidency from the beginning.

Doubts about his fitness for the job grew after a disastrous debate last month, prompting shock calls for him to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race.

Republicans strongly opposed Joe Biden’s speech explaining why he decided to cancel his re-election bid, saying the president should have left office much earlier because he “hasn’t been in charge.”

President Biden addressed the nation from the Oval Office on Wednesday night to explain his reasoning for abruptly dropping out of the presidential race on Sunday after weeks of pressure from Democratic allies including Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Sen. Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.

His speech marked the first time he spoke directly to the American people since withdrawing from the 2024 election and being diagnosed with COVID a week ago.

During his speech, he said he is convinced that “new voices” and “younger voices” are better suited to govern the country, address the many concerns and unite the country around a capable candidate.

Republicans, meanwhile, called the speech a cowardly act. Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) said, “It’s pretty clear to me that he hasn’t been in charge for a while.”

“Everyone knows about it,” he continued.

Liberals were left reeling from President Biden’s farewell speech on Wednesday night, with one political fanboy barely able to speak and hold back tears.

Progressive fanboy Van Jones was overcome with emotion on CNN when he waxed poetic about his “hero” Joe Biden.

“That kid with the stutter did well. He did well. That’s a good man,” Jones said, referring to Biden’s childhood struggles with speech.

Leading Democrats, including Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, thanked Biden for his service, praising him as a “great American president” who demonstrated “wisdom” and “exceptional leadership.”

But in Trump Force One, the disinterested former president merely pulled a face, while a bewildered Biden was shown in the background on the TV.
