Despite standing by her husband’s side last week, Melania Trump reportedly has no plans to campaign with her husband this time.

Former First Lady Melania, 53, has been frequently absent from public life lately due to the death of her mother early this year.

She stood behind her husband as he accepted his awards and gave a short speech about the joy he felt playing at his golf club in West Palm Beach Sunday evening.

However, a source close to the campaign said so CNN that it’s not clear she will be attending any of her husband’s gatherings, with multiple sources saying she won’t be “taking on a bigger role anytime soon.”

“She will definitely have a role, but in terms of what that is, I don’t know,” the source said. “It’s her decision how much or how little to campaign.”

It’s not even clear yet whether Melania will play a public role at August’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, although it is believed she will attend.

However, they note that the former FLOTUS is considerate and might change his mind in the future.

“She is very selective and methodical in what she wants to do and how she presents herself,” another source said.

“She’s very decisive about these things and knows they have a lot of intended and unintended consequences.”

Melania has appeared at public events just twice since her husband announced his third consecutive White House appearance.

She was by his side at his campaign kickoff at Mar-a-Lago in November 2022 and showed up with Donald to cast her vote in the Florida primary, which he won handily.

When asked when she would be back on the road, she could only smile and say, “Stay tuned.”

Melania has said, ‘I don’t have to stand by Donald like Jill Biden; it’s like she’s holding Joe Biden,” Grisham said.

Nor is Trump’s 2016 opponent her First Lady style: “She has absolutely no intention of doing the Hillary Clinton ‘stand by your man’ thing.”

In an interview with Megyn Kelly late last year, former President Trump described her wife as mysterious in response to questions about her whereabouts.

When asked about the former first couple’s moments at home, such as their dinners, Trump talked about the little things.

“Our dinners are fun dinners, our dinners are like people dinners… we actually get along really well,” he said.

Melania has also not been by Trump’s side during his court hearings as he fights multiple legal battles.
