Mel B reveals the Spice Girls are getting back together and have ‘something in the works’ after Victoria Beckham championed iconic girl group getting back together
Many Spice Girls fans were disappointed when Victoria Beckham didn’t return as Posh Spice for the band’s 2019 reunion tour.
While the first reunion was a four-person group consisting of Sporty, Ginger and Baby, and Scary Spice, Mel B has revealed that won’t be the case for their next project.
Speak against The Daily TelegraphMel B, who is currently in Australia filming The Masked Singer, said Victoria Beckham will be joining the iconic band for something exciting.
“We do something together like the Spice Girls and I’ve always been a supporter of everyone together,” said the 48-year-old.
‘But this time it was actually Victoria who said, ‘Come on, let’s all do something’. So we have something in the works that will be announced shortly.’

The last time the iconic 1990s pop group took to the stage as a five-piece band was at the 2012 London Olympics.

While rumors circulated about several group members feuding after the group broke up in 2000, Emma, 46, recently revealed that they will always have an incredible bond.
Speaking to MailOnline in December 2022, Emma said, “Nobody else will ever understand that relationship between us.
“We’ve been through so much and we’re still going through so much, from kids to work.
“There’s a bond there and it’s very, very strong.”

The Spice Girls first formed in 1994 and went on to release a number of international hits including Wannabe, Stop, Spice Up Your Life and Too Much.
Although they initially broke up in 2000, they have reunited for a tour in 2007 and released the track Headlines (Friendship Never Ends).
Mel B has been spotted in Sydney for the past month as she will be calling Australia home for the foreseeable future as she films The Masked Singer, where she is a judge.
She joins Abbie Chatfield, Chrissie Swan and Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes for the Channel 10 series, which airs later this year.
