Mel B looks incredible in a red cut-out maxi dress as she joins her fellow Spice Girls to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s lavish 50th birthday party

Mel B looked fantastic as she celebrated Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party with her fellow Spice Girls and Hollywood A-listers on Saturday.

The 48-year-old singer stood out in a beautiful red maxi dress with cutouts.

She drew attention to her stunning figure in the issue as she made a stylish entrance to chic Mayfair private members club Oswald’s.

The garment, which fit Mel’s toned figure perfectly, featured thin halter straps as she opted to keep her jewelery to a minimum with just a stylish watch.

The singer oozed glamor in animal print stiletto heels, carried the essentials for the glitzy party in a chic shoulder bag and topped it off with glamorous makeup.

The Spice Girls reunited to celebrate their loved one Posh Spice’s milestone birthday in an exclusive and luxurious party where guests enjoyed dinner, sparkling water and cocktails – and dancing until the early hours.

But what made the night particularly special for the birthday boy, friends said, was having all the girl band members in the same room.

That and a touch of Hollywood glamor in the form of Tom Cruise and actress Eva Longoria.

Even Geri Horner showed up with a smile, one of the last to arrive after seemingly putting the ‘sexting’ scandal surrounding her husband, Red Bull Racing boss Christian Horner, behind her. However, he was absent due to work commitments.

Emma Bunton arrived with husband Jade Jones, followed closely by Melanie Chisholm and then Mel B.

“It meant a lot to Victoria that they were all there,” said a friend. ‘They were a big part of her life and they shared so much together.

‘They were special days and it was of course great for her to have them there on the occasion of her 50th. It made everything so perfect.”

The party was just one of many celebrations to mark her half-century, which fell on Wednesday.

Husband David Beckham chartered a plane to fly close family to the south of France for a £200-per-person dinner at La Colombe d’Or in Saint Paul de Vence, later returning to Luton airport.

Tonight’s party started at 6pm with pre-dinner drinks at the Beckhams’ £25 million mansion in Holland Park, west London.

Victoria opted for a light green floor-length dress from her own range, while daughter Harper, 13, chose a cream camisole-style dress, also from her mother’s collection.

Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz all wore Dior, while David was dressed in luxury Italian brand Loro Piana.

Brooklyn’s Nicola Peltz was forced to miss the event after her grandmother suddenly fell ill and she rushed to be by her side.

Alongside the photos shared to Instagram, Victoria wrote: ‘I can’t wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much!’

There was one small problem: despite her best efforts, Victoria’s broken foot had not healed enough for her to drop her crutches.

But she could trade her moon boot for stilettos. Guests enjoyed ‘Italian inspired platters’ for starters and main courses featuring steak and sea bass.

Her husband paid tribute to his wife of almost 25 years before all four of their children stood up to talk about their mother.

Music came from the trendy DJ collective Hale Zero.

The guest list included the Beckhams’ best friends Gordon and Tana Ramsay, Jason Statham and wife Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, plus Guy Ritchie and dancer Marc Anthony who flew in from Miami.

Others included former Vogue editor Edward Enninful and Victoria’s hairdresser Ken Paves, who did her hair for her big night.

David’s best friend David Gardner also made an appearance, as did his former Manchester United teammate Gary Neville, with his wife Emma.

Tom Cruise’s presence surprised many guests. His estranged daughter Suri was photographed in New York City last week celebrating her 18th birthday.

She was seen sharing a birthday present with a friend while her Scientologist father filmed the latest Mission: Impossible 3,500 miles away in Britain.

A friend of Victoria’s said: ‘She has been raving about this for weeks.

“It was perfect to have all those people in the same room.”
