Megyn Kelly’s dystopian prediction for America if Kamala wins: ‘Insanity on steroids’

Regardless of who is elected president on Tuesday, America is in for a tough ride, says Megyn Kelly.

But if Vice President Kamala Harris wins the White House, the veteran journalist paints a truly dystopian vision of the country’s future.

A Harris victory “would just be such a dark day,” Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview with just days to go until the 2024 election.

Firstly, Kelly – who is the host The Megyn Kelly Show — has no confidence that Harris will tackle the country’s raging illegal immigrant crisis.

‘How are we going to stop the flow of illegal migrants into this country?’ Kelly asks. ‘[Harris is] she wasn’t interested in that at all, just like her boss wasn’t interested in that at all.’

A Kamala Harris victory “would just be one of those dark days,” Kelly tells DailyMail.com in an exclusive interview with just days to go until the 2024 election.

Kelly also emphasizes that Harris has expressed no willingness to remove any of the estimated 10 million illegal aliens who have entered the US over the past four years.

“She has not even claimed that she will eradicate even the worst criminal elements, the Venezuelan gang members. She hasn’t even pretended she’s going to deport them,” Kelly said. “That really fundamentally changes the country into something very dangerous.”

And that’s all just the tip of the iceberg, she warns.

“Trans madness will explode on steroids,” says Kelly, who regularly denounces left-wing progressive transgender ideology.

Harris has yet to say whether she will end taxpayer-funded sex change operations for prisoners — something she previously supported during her failed 2020 presidential campaign.

When pressed recently on the issue, Harris said only that as president she would “follow the law,” which currently allows such procedures to be publicly funded.

As for Americans experiencing the worst price inflation in four decades, Kelly warns that Harris offers little chance of relief.

“Our economy will stall and our taxes will go up,” Kelly said. “I think all the pipe dreams she threw out like candy for these leftists, not one of them will be accepted.”

That said, Kelly is under no illusions about Trump’s likely response to an election loss.

“He would take it very badly,” Kelly predicts, although she expects he will handle the disappointment better than he did in 2020. “I think being the incumbent and getting fired is worse than being the outsider.”

“I don’t think he’ll say he lost fair and square,” she says. ‘We will see whether there really is election fraud. He’ll probably claim it without evidence, as we saw last time.”

Kelly also emphasizes that Harris has expressed no willingness to remove any of the estimated 10 million illegal aliens who have entered the US over the past four years.

However, should the election go the other way, Kelly warns that Democrats will do “everything they can” to prevent Trump from being inaugurated for a second time.

‘We have from November 5 to mid-January [Democrats] we are trying to find a way to prevent him from actually being sworn in and taking the oath of office,” she said.

“It will mainly be about lawsuits and trying to get explanations that he is an insurgent, something along those lines.”

And after all that, Kelly says, America would face four years of a “nervous breakdown” from the Democrats.

In that case, America’s future would depend on the balance of power in the House of Representatives and the Senate.

Kelly believes Democrats will launch multiple congressional investigations if Trump wins — and try to impeach him for a third time within the first month of his second term.

This “nervous breakdown” scenario becomes even murkier if these efforts fail.

The losers, she says, will “try to undermine [Trump] at every step they will thwart Trump’s agenda, just as the Republicans would try to thwart it [Harris’s agenda].’

In a reference to Democrats wildly comparing Trump to Hitler in recent days, Kelly says, “The dark exaggeration will continue – I’m not sure how you can take the next step from Trump. Jeffrey Dahmer? Charles Manson? Let’s see where they take it. They will try to give themselves an edge, and that will be constant, and the media will be complicit. It will be a lot for us to open the newspaper tomorrow morning.”

Kelly suggests that the mainstream media has already shown its hand – especially in its reporting of claims against Harris’ husband Doug Emhoff.

The second gentleman is facing two serious charges exclusively reported by the Mail.

First, that Emhoff cheated on his first wife with their daughter’s nanny and allegedly got her pregnant.

No one from the Harris campaign, the Emhoff camp or the sitter’s inner circle has denied any part of the story. Emhoff has now admitted to the affair.

Second, Emhoff is also accused of punching an ex-girlfriend in the face in public.

An unnamed representative for Emhoff has said the report is “false” and that “any suggestion of it” [Emhoff] would or would ever hit a woman is not true.”

“Thank God for the Daily Mail,” Kelly said. ‘[The slap allegation has] was absolutely ignored by every media outlet and politician left of center. It was absolutely disgusting.”

“There’s only one reason this one didn’t get attention, and that’s because it’s Kamala Harris’ husband. It completely undermines the story they are trying to tell us about this man as our new version of masculinity.

But according to this veteran journalist, it’s not all doom and gloom. She is excited about the prospect of a Trump presidency and the “Marvel cast” of new talent he could bring into the federal government if he wins, such as entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

It’s an interesting arsenal of generals he’s bringing in,” Kelly says. “Political generals like Elon Musk, who promises to find efficiencies in government. We are downsizing a federal government that is way too bloated, which is a joy to think about.”

On Tuesday, November 5, Kelly will host a panel of experts on her show. Her guests include Maureen Callahan of The Mail and prominent conservative pundits such as Ben Shapiro of The Daily Wire.
