Megyn Kelly has been fiercely critical of Donald Trump’s two-hour interview with Elon Musk, calling the former president “boring.”
“He seemed a little confused to me,” Kelly said of Trump’s conversation with the Tesla and Space X CEO. “In 2016, it was hard to lose Trump’s interest.”
The former Fox News host explained that Trump gives long and rambling speeches at rallies, which bores the audience and causes them to lose interest.
She claimed his recent long-winded tirades are “age-related.”
“I think that’s one of the challenges for the people around him. I’m sure they’re desperately trying to get him to get that message across,” she said.

Kelly’s brazen comments came after election analyst Nate Silver appeared on The Megyn Kelly Show.
Silver questioned Trump’s fitness to serve as president, given his age of 78. He said the conditions of both President Biden and Trump should be investigated by the media.
“I would encourage more reporting on, you know, is Trump in a state of decline? I think that’s a fair question to ask any 78-year-old,” Silver said.
“That’s a fair question. Yeah, that’s absolutely a fair question,” Kelly confirmed.
Kelly isn’t the only one to express concern about Trump’s interview with Musk. In fact, Republicans have even warned Trump about his campaign strategy in the wake of the massive disaster.
“Every day that Trump doesn’t spend in a swing state, bashing Kamala Harris on issues like the economy and border security, is a day wasted,” said Republican strategist Kevin Madden, who worked on Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign.
“The key to winning over swing voters is to convince them with a pro-economy message and to be relentless in doing so,” he added.
