Megyn Kelly has trashed Kamala Harris for attending a fundraiser packed with Hollywood elites instead of going to the areas hit by Hurricane Helene.
At least 121 deaths in six states have been blamed on the storm — a toll that rose Monday as a clearer picture emerged of the devastation it wrought in an area stretching from Florida’s Gulf Coast north to Virginia’s Appalachians. More than 600 are missing.
During her SiriusXM show Monday, Kelly wondered why Harris was hanging out with the stars instead of taking care of those left behind.
“Last night, well into the devastation, the loss of life, men, women, children, pets, the whole devastation and destruction of communities, Kamala Harris attended a fundraiser in LA,” she said.
Stars appearing that night included Stevie Wonder Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling Brown, Demi Lovato, Jessica Alba, Lily, Tomlin, Alanis Morissette and Halle Bailey.

Kelly noted, “The devastation continued. How dare she!’
Harris is canceling her planned campaign stops for Monday to return to Washington DC for briefings on Hurricane Helene.
According to her campaign, she will leave Las Vegas tomorrow morning and be in Washington for a briefing at FEMA on Monday afternoon. She will also visit devastated areas if this will not disrupt relief efforts.
Kelly has been no friendlier to Joe Biden, who has insisted he has taken charge after the disaster while claiming he won’t visit until he can avoid being a distraction.
“He spent the weekend in Delaware at his beach house, but great, I’m glad now that it’s Monday and we’re between 11 and 4, he’s really taking it seriously. “I’m sorry, but get off your beach and go to work… He says he doesn’t want to be distracted so he expects to be there later this week,” she said.
“I’m just going to say it. I don’t believe him. I don’t think he’s worried about a distraction that could be a problem with presidents. I believe he is tired. He only came off his feet late in this crisis.”
Donald Trump has ridiculed Harris for “pretending” to help with Hurricane Helene disaster relief in a photo posted to her social media.

The post even mentioned how she was working with the governor of North Carolina to help the state’s recovery efforts.
However, Trump pointed out a glaring problem with the photo.
“You have to plug the cord into the phone to make it work!” Writing on his Truth Social app, Trump pointed out that the headphones she is wearing are not connected to her phone on the desk.
‘Another fake and staged photo of someone who has no idea what she is doing.’
However, the angle of the image does not provide a line of sight to the port on the VP’s phone, raising the possibility that her headphones were indeed plugged into the device.
The earpiece cord apparently falls straight down onto the VP’s lap and not onto the phone on the table in front of her, which also means there may be a second phone involved in this latest scandal.
The photo, in which Harris appears to be hard at work on the phone, is captioned: “I was just informed [FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell] about the latest developments about the ongoing consequences of Hurricane Helene. We also discussed our government’s ongoing actions to support relief and recovery efforts.”
‘I have spoken too [Gov. Roy] Cooper on the ongoing rescue and recovery efforts in North Carolina,” the post continued. “Our government will remain in constant contact with state and local officials to ensure communities have the support and resources they need.”
Harris has not yet visited any of the states affected by the tragic and deadly storm.
Vice President Kamala Harris posted this on her official X account on Sunday and many were quick to point out that her headphones appeared to be unplugged
Trump, on the other hand, went to Valdosta, Georgia, to view the damage done by Helene on Monday afternoon.
He spoke with those affected by the storm and helped distribute supplies to those in attendance.
The former president not only ripped her for the “staged” photo, but also blasted Harris for allowing Americans to drown.
“Biden and Harris have failed Americans in Afghanistan,” Trump’s post continued.
“They sacrificed Americans for an open border, and now they’ve allowed Americans to drown in North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and elsewhere in the South.”
Biden said he expects to visit areas devastated by Hurricane Helene this week, while defending that he was spending the weekend at his beach house when the storm hit.
“I have told the governor of North Carolina that I am going there and I expect to be there on Wednesday or Thursday if it is clear to me,” he told reporters at the White House.
“I am committed to traveling to the affected areas as quickly as possible, but I have been told it would be disruptive if I did so now,” he noted.
‘I was in charge, I was on the phone for at least two hours yesterday, and the day before yesterday too. I gave the order, it’s called a telephone,” President Joe Biden said
The president became defensive when asked how he remained in command while spending the weekend at his vacation home in Rehoboth Beach as the hurricane devastated parts of the South.
‘I was in charge, I was on the phone for at least two hours yesterday, and the day before yesterday too. I gave the order, it’s called a telephone,” he said.
He noted that he spoke with the governors of Georgia and North Carolina, two of the states hardest hit by the storm.
Roads and I-64, a major highway, have been washed out in parts of these areas, making it difficult to bring in necessary supplies. Local and federal officials, along with the National Guard, are rushing to bring help.
More than 460,000 people are without power and more than 1,000 had taken refuge in 24 shelters.
Search and rescue teams from 19 states and the U.S. government have converged on North Carolina, Gov. Roy Cooper said, adding that some roads could take months to repair.
Damage estimates ranged from $15 billion to more than $100 billion, insurers and forecasters said this weekend, as water systems, communications and critical transportation routes were hit.
Property damage and lost economic output will become more apparent as officials assess the destruction.
About 2.7 million customers in the South were without power Sunday, a U.S. Energy Department official said, a 40 percent drop from Friday after unprecedented storm surges, ferocious winds and dangerous conditions extended hundreds of miles inland.
