Meghan’s VERY luxurious brunch look! The Duchess of Sussex rocks a £10,000 outfit with a cashmere coat as she carries a Chanel bag

The Duchess of Sussex looked elegant as always when she stepped out in a black and white outfit in Los Angeles this afternoon.

Meghan, 41, met friends for lunch at Gracias Madre on Melrose Avenue hours after her son and daughter were officially named Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet on the Buckingham Palace website, with the line of succession updated.

And the mum oozed glamor as she strutted down the street dressed entirely in black with white accessories, in an outfit that cost over £10,000.

She wore the glamorous look in her first public appearance since the Sussexes announced that Princess Lilibet was christened last week.

The Duchess’s choice to go with premium designers meant the outfit cost a staggering over £10,222.

With her dark brown locks neatly pulled back into a low, relaxed bun, Meghan accessorized with a pair of Valentino sunglasses that retail for around £170.

The mother-of-two also turned up in a chic black Max Mara cashmere coat costing £3390, which she has worn several times before.

Perhaps the star of her outfit (and certainly the most expensive piece) was a cute, classic Chanel tweed clutch on a chain, which she held by her side as she strolled down the street.

In keeping with her black and white theme, the Duchess also opted for white pointy mules from Valentino, which cost around £540.

His departure came just hours after Buckingham Palace officially changed the titles of his children in the line of succession on its website to reflect their titles of Prince and Princess.

The change came after the couple revealed that their 21-month-old daughter, whom they named ‘Princess Lilibet Diana’, had been christened at the couple’s £11m California mansion.

As of 9:30am this morning, the children had been referred to as simply ‘teachers’ and ‘misses’ Mountbatten-Windsor on the Buckingham Palace website. They are now ‘Prince Archie of Sussex’ and ‘Princess Lilibet of Sussex’.

It came shortly after their California-based parents declared that Archie and Lilibet had the “birthright” to be called prince and princess in a statement defending their decision to use the titles.

The Duke and Duchess also insisted that the matter had been ‘settled for some time’ with King Charles, despite the couple revealing it yesterday. Her Majesty is said to have told Prince Harry that her children would be allowed to call each other prince and princess in a private conversation after the Queen’s funeral last year.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said: “Children’s titles have been a birthright since their grandfather became monarch. This matter has been resolved for some time in line with Buckingham Palace.

But their 21-month-old daughter Lilibet saw her royal title of ‘princess’ used formally for the first time yesterday when the couple told the world she had been christened in California without Charles, Camilla, William and Kate present.
