Meghan Markle opted for high glamor in her latest interview with Variety magazine — she wore a $2,990 Carolina Herrera dress, a Jason Wu cocktail dress priced at over $5,000, and a $1,560 Galvin dress for the photo shoot.

The Duchess of Sussex, 41, opened up one of her favorite American magazines in the article published today – alongside a video interview – in which she discussed everything from her husband’s love for American fast food to her grief over the death of the queen.

While the couple’s California home life — including the television shows her children Lilibet, one, and Archie, three, enjoy watching — took center stage, the photos centered on couture.

The California-based royal took on different poses for the shoot at the couple’s Montecito home, wearing a range of dresses from major fashion houses.

Amid claims she and Harry want to harm the royal family since she emigrates in 2020, Meghan told the magazine she is “proud” of her relationship with Queen and had a “nice warmth” with her.

She said, “There has been such an outpouring of love and support. I am truly grateful that I could be with my husband to support him, especially during that time.

“It is so beautiful to look at the legacy his grandmother has left on so many fronts. Certainly, in terms of female leadership, she is the most shining example of what that looks like. I feel deep gratitude that I was able to spend time with her and get to know her.”

But hinting that her death had been difficult for Harry, who reportedly learned of his grandmother’s passing five minutes before the rest of the world, she said: “It’s been a complicated time, but my husband, once the optimist , said: “Now she is reunited with her husband”.’
