Meghan Markle’s former Suits costars Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty launch their OWN podcast that will see them spill behind-the-scenes gossip… so will SHE appear?

Meghan Markle’s former Suits co-stars are set to launch their own podcast that promises to spread exclusive behind-the-scenes gossip.

Patrick J. Adams and Sarah Rafferty will reunite for the project “dedicated to revisiting and breaking down” the hit legal drama, SiriusXM announced earlier on Tuesday.

It teased that the duo will be joined each week by “special guests who played roles both in front and behind the camera,” as well as friends and fans of the show.

The podcast comes after Patrick, along with costar Gabriel Macht, previously confirmed they had ‘no communication’ with Meghan – but fans are likely to still speculate about whether the Duchess of Sussex will make an appearance.

Earlier this month, the former actress’ own Archetypes podcast received a rebrand after launching across all streaming platforms with a new cover.

Suits originally aired for nine seasons on USA Network from 2011 to 2019 and saw genius college dropout Mike Ross (Patrick) jmove to a high-profile Manhattan law firm, with Sarah taking on the role of no-nonsense assistant Donna Paulsen.

The Duchess, who showed off her acting skills earlier today while reading to children at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, played Rachel Zane – a paralegal who becomes a formidable lawyer and eventually marries Ross.

Suits was added to Netflix last June and quickly attracted viewers with its binge-friendly catalog of 134 episodes, while skyrocketing to the most streamed show of 2023.

Earlier this year, it was reported that a spin-off series titled Suits: LA was in the works – four years after the original show that put Meghan in the spotlight ended.

Speculation immediately arose over whether or not the Duchess of Sussex would be involved, but sources close to the new show confirmed exclusively to DailyMail.com that Prince Harry’s wife had no plans to appear on the series .

“After the record-breaking revival of Suits, this feels like the perfect time to revisit the show that changed our lives,” Patrick and Sarah say of their currently untitled new project.

“We’re thrilled to be working with the incredible team at SiriusXM and look forward to connecting with our friends from the cast and crew, as well as the Suits fans who made this all possible.”

Adam Sachs, Senior Vice President of Podcast Content at SiriusXM, said of the venture: ‘As we continue SiriusXM’s mission to bring listeners closer to the stars they love, we’re excited to partner with Patrick and Sarah to launch this new podcast dedicated to taking a deep dive into a TV show with a passionate, record-breaking crowd.

“Through their work on the series, the beloved co-stars have developed an off-camera friendship that we know will be a treat for Suits fans new and old. We can’t wait for you to listen.’

The podcast could compete with Meghan’s, which recently got a makeover.

Last month it was revealed that the Duchess, 42, had signed a new podcast deal with Lemonada Media after she and Prince Harry, 39, parted ways with Spotify.

The move will see her host a new podcast series for the female-founded company and her previously exclusive Spotify show was released across all platforms including Apple Podcasts, Audible and Spotify.

But royal fans were quick to notice that Archetypes’ cover with Lemonada had undergone a slight makeover from its time on Spotify.

The same photo of Meghan is used, but it appears to have undergone a rebrand for the podcast’s relaunch.

The podcast will keep the same name: Archetypes with Meghan – and is described as “a podcast where we explore, dissect and undermine the labels that try to hold women back.”

The podcast’s previous 13 episodes, dating from August to November 2022, are now available to stream on all platforms.

Meghan’s Archetypes podcast about female stereotypes only lasted one series before her lucrative deal with Spotify ended in 2023.

The new deal comes a year after the Duchess and her husband, Prince Harry, ended their $20 million deal with Spotify and three years after it was signed.

“I’m proud to now share that I’m joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting,” Meghan said in a statement last month.

Spotify and the Sussexes’ audio production company Archewell Audio released a joint statement saying they have “mutually agreed to part ways and are proud of the series we have created together.”

A top Spotify podcast executive had called Prince Harry and Meghan “bloody fraudsters” after they produced just one series of 13 episodes of a podcast for the company and subsequently split.

In a statement about her new podcast, Meghan added: ‘Being able to support a female-founded company with a range of thought-provoking and highly entertaining podcasts is a fantastic way to start 2024.

“Our plan to re-release ‘Archetypes’ so more people can access it now, and to launch a dynamic new podcast, are in the works. I look forward to sharing this soon and am thrilled to be part of the Lemonada family.”
