Meghan Markle sports outfit and accessories worth £61,795 as she visits Montecito restaurant with actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley – including a £15,500 Cartier necklace and Dior bag named after Princess Diana

Meghan Markle was photographed wearing a casual outfit worth a whopping £61,795 during a day out in Montecito, which included expensive jewellery and a handbag named after the late Diana, Princess of Wales.

The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex was photographed leaving trendy Italian restaurant Tre Lune on Sunday.

A-listers including Kourtney Kardashian, Ellen DeGeneres and Sofia Richie are reportedly fans of the restaurant, which is located near the $14.5 million Montecito mansion that Meghan shares with Prince Harry, 39, and their children Archie and Lilibet.

As she left Tre Lune, Meghan was spotted chatting to actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, 52, the wife of American country singer Brad Paisley and star of the 1990s film Father of the Bride.

The mother-of-two, who is known for her love of designer labels and glittering jewellery, wore her £245 white ‘Mika’ shirt by Los Angeles-based brand Anine Bing, teamed with £150 ‘Molly’ jeans from La Ligne and £820 lambskin ballet flats from Chanel.

However, the bulk of Meghan’s bill was made up of her jewellery, including Princess Diana’s £17,800 Cartier Gold Tank Française watch and her £5,800 Cartier Love Yellow Gold bracelet.

On her wrist, she also wore the Against Evil Eye Five Eye Diamond Pave bracelet from beloved jeweler Lorraine Schwartz.

The now sold-out example, which sold for a staggering £15,800, features topaz and both black and white diamonds.

In addition to her bracelets, Meghan also wore two necklaces, including her £15,500 Cartier Justr Un Clou necklace.

She paired it with her Imperial Disc Pendant Necklace from Ariel Gordon Jewelry worth £1,425.

Her pricey outfit also included her Dior Medium Lady D-Lite Bag in Black Cannage Embroidery, which retails for £4,100 and is named after Meghan’s late mother-in-law Diana, Princess of Wales.

To complete the look, Meghan wore a pair of Ray Ban Gold Aviator Classic sunglasses, which retail for £155.

Alongside the rest of her precious jewellery, Meghan also wore her engagement ring, which is reportedly worth around £271,000.

Tre Lune has recently become one of the hottest celebrity hotspots, with numerous stars including Kourtney Kardashian, Travis Barker, Ellen DeGeneres, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick visiting the restaurant.

And her presence there on Sunday was not the first time the Duchess had visited the Italian restaurant: she celebrated her 42nd birthday there.

The restaurant, which is open to everyone, serves simple dishes for a main course of around $30.

Opened in 2003, Tre Lune is not only known for its breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings, but also has a high standard of wine and annually wins the ‘Wine Spectator’ award.

The combination of the famous food and drink and the location made the venue a convenient choice for the two women.

Kimberly and her husband Brad, long-time Montecito residents, are part of the local social circle.

Celebrities such as Ellen DeGeneres, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are also part of the group.

Kimberly, who is known for her charity work, is said to be deeply committed to a number of causes close to Meghan’s heart, including ending food poverty.

The actress, who wore a blue button-up dress and white sneakers, is best known for her role in Father of the Bride.

She starred alongside Steve Martin and Diane Keaton as the lovelorn Annie in the film, her first big screen role.

The film proved to be a springboard for Kimberly’s career, leading to starring roles in a number of films in the 1990s, including Indian Summer (1993), Coldblooded (1995) and The War at Home (1996).

From 2001, she was the star of According to Jim for no less than eight years, of which she even directed three episodes herself.

After According to Jim ended in 2009, she appeared in the series Nashville, Boston Legal and Two and a Half Men.

Kimberly has been married to country singer Brad Paisley for over 20 years and the couple have two children.

In addition to her acting and charity work, Kimberley wrote her 2016 memoir Where the Light Gets In: Losing My Mother Only to Find Her Again.

She spoke candidly about how her mother’s dementia changed her life.

The book chronicles the family’s struggle, with Kimberley’s mother Linda developing a condition called primary progressive aphasia, which slowly caused her to lose the ability to ‘speak, write and eventually the ability to recognise people in her own family’.

Reviewers have praised the moving book, which includes an excerpt describing how Kimberly, her father and siblings “developed into themselves, tried to let go of shame and secrecy, made mistakes and found unexpected humor and grace amid the suffering.”

Kimberly and Brad recently founded an initiative called ‘The Store’ to address food insecurity.

On their website, the two explained that the inspiration for the project, which provides free basic groceries to people in need, came from wanting to teach their children about global issues.

“We need to employ them, get them out of their bubble and make them realize that there are hungry people in the world,” Kimberly said.

In 2020, The Store opened in Nashville, but that same year the business was hit by the aftermath of a tornado outbreak and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their website states: ‘The store distinguishes itself by offering a unique shopping experience that upholds the dignity of its customers.

‘Unlike traditional food banks, The Store invites customers to choose their food from a variety of fresh, healthy options.

“This model ensures that families have access to meat, dairy and fresh produce, which are often difficult to find in traditional food assistance programs.”
