Meghan Markle risks portraying herself as bitter as she writes about “what really happened” between her and Kate Middleton in her rumored memoir.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, is said to be writing a tell-all book about her time in the royal family.
But the memoir could make her appear ‘bitter’ if she portrays the Princess of Wales in a bad light, a royal expert has claimed.
Speak with The sunRoyal author Phil Dampier said Meghan is likely to give her thoughts on the ongoing “comparisons” between the two.
‘She told her side of what really happened between her and Kate in the run-up to the wedding, when one allegedly made the other cry. Everyone will be fascinated to hear Meghan’s perspective on her relationship with Kate, whether she was hostile or welcomed her from the start.”
While fans of the Duke and Duchess may welcome such a moving exposé, Dampier fears the royal family is “concerned” about the nature of the book and is likely bracing for more controversy.

News of Meghan’s book comes not long after her husband Prince Harry’s bombshell memoir Spare, which was released in January.
Although she caused a media storm in her own right, the royal expert says they have nothing to do with Meghan’s, and that her memoir could sell better than Spare.
Meanwhile, royal expert Tom Bower, who wrote Revenge: Meghan and Harry and the war between the Windsors, agrees it will be a big seller for the couple.
He told GBNews: ‘My information is that she is writing her memoir and it will be a huge money spinner.’
The prince’s shocking 416-page autobiography is rumored to have secured a staggering £16 million ($20 million) advance.
The huge sum built on the mega deals they signed with Spotify for £25 million ($30 million) and Netflix for £81 million ($100 million) – and if news of Meghan’s upcoming memoir is true, the duo are expected to make even more money will bring in.
In Spare, Harry, 39, made a series of sensational claims that made headlines around the world.

These included an alleged altercation with his brother Prince William, during which he was reportedly knocked to the ground by his brother.
Harry claimed William had branded his wife Meghan Markle ‘rude’ and ‘difficult’.
He also wrote how he and William begged King Charles not to marry current Queen Camilla, who he feared could become their “wicked stepmother”, before suggesting she had made plans to take over the crown and stories leaked to the press.
Other eyebrow-raising passages include the revelation that he lost his virginity to ‘an older woman’ in a field behind a pub.
Sasha Walpole, 40, later revealed that woman was her, adding that it was Harry who made the first move, leading to their ‘spontaneous and sparkling’ sex in a field behind The Vine Tree pub in the Wiltshire village of Norton.
