Meghan Markle joined forces with her former Suits co-star to promote their friend’s charity by posing in ‘love like a mother’ t-shirts.
The Duchess of Sussex, 42, looked beaming in new Instagram photos alongside actor Abigail Spencer in support of friend Kelly Zajfen’s new Mother’s Day campaign for her charity ‘Alliance of Moms’.
A week after Zajfen gushed about Meghan’s new American Riviera Orchard jam on social media, the actress returned the favor by promoting the charity campaign.
Zajfen said of her actress friends, “You inspire me. You pick me up when I need it and you love like a mother!’
Spencer still appears to be a close member of Meghan’s inner circle, while several of her former co-stars have notably since been removed from royal family life as her stock has soared in recent years.

The Duchess, 42, posed in a “love like a mother” T-shirt, with proceeds from the sale of the shirts going to “essential services, education and advocacy so young parents in foster care and their children can heal and thrive ”, said Zajfen
In her Instagram post alongside Meghan, Zajfen thanked the actresses for “supporting this campaign and our youth”
The trio wore the shirts two weeks after Zajfen launched her “love like a mother” campaign, which aims to provide educational resources, doulas, health care, housing and therapy to young mothers and their children.
Zejfen’s charity Alliance of Moms is a nonprofit organization that supports young mothers in the foster care system.
In her Instagram post alongside Meghan, Zajfen thanked the actresses for “supporting this campaign and our youth.”
“When we talk about the people in our lives who lift us up when you need it, with the undeniable power of pure love, these two come to mind,” she wrote.
She added that proceeds from the sale of the T-shirts “support essential services, education and advocacy so that young parents in foster care and their children can heal and thrive.”
Meghan’s support for her friend’s campaign came less than a week after Zajfen shared a rave review of the royal family’s new strawberry jam, released through her lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard.
After receiving an early, limited-edition jar, the charity boss wrote on social media: ‘Oh, just a taste of what’s to come! I’m so proud of you, M.’
The friends also traveled to Utah together for a ski vacation last month, the Daily beast.
While their friendship appears to be blossoming, Spencer’s appearance in the promotion comes at a time when people close to Meghan say she has all but lost touch with the rest of her former Suits co-stars.
The Duchess has reportedly had feuds with her Suits co-stars and former BFF Jessica Mulroney, but many of her former friends are still close
Gina Torres (pictured with Meghan in September 2011) recently claimed that no one on the show still has the Duchess’s contact details
Although Meghan Markle’s former colleague Sarah Rafferty previously described the cast as a “family,” Gina Torres recently claimed that no one on the show has the Duchess’s contact information yet.
At the Golden Globes in January, the actress – who played Jessica Pearson in the US drama – revealed that the ex-castmates simply ‘don’t have her number’ when asked if anyone had contacted the former actress.
An interviewer asked, “Who texted Meghan and said, ‘You need to come to the Golden Globes, Meghan Markle.’
The star – who attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding in 2018 – said: ‘We don’t have her number. We just don’t do that. She will see. She will watch. She’ll be happy we’re here.’
The following month, Patrick J Adams and Gabriel Macht – who played Mike and Harvey on the show – revealed that they had also had ‘no communication’ from Meghan.
