Meghan Markle ‘jumped out of her chair to sing along to You Belong with Me at Taylor Swift at LA show’ – but didn’t take a photo with the star like other celebs after Spotify ‘snub’
Meghan Markle is said to have jumped out of her chair this week to sing along to the song You Belong with Me at one of Taylor Swift’s shows in LA, but surprisingly did not take a photo with the singer.
The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex attended the pop sensation’s show at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, according to PEOPLE magazine.
The publication reports that the mother-of-two happily jumped out of her chair when Taylor played her 2008 hit single.
The pop star said to the adoring audience, “Let’s go back to high school!”
The former Suits actress was partnered with her British friend Lucy Fraser, who featured prominently in the Sussexes’ tell-all Netflix series. Page six reports.

However, Meghan – who reportedly enjoyed girls’ night out while Prince Harry is in Singapore – didn’t have her photo taken with the singer like some other celebs in LA.
Taylor Swift played five shows at the SoFi Stadium this past week, which were attended by multiple A-Listers — including Gigi Hadid, Channing Tatum, Cameron Diaz, Paula Abdul, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Sofia Vergara.
On the first night of the tour’s LA leg, Taylor snapped a photo with Kobe Bryant’s widow Vanessa and their children backstage.
During her 22 performance, Taylor Swift presented Vanessa’s six-year-old daughter Bianka with her bowler hat and hugged her from the stage.
The night before Meghan reportedly attended, the star also happily snapped a photo with Alicia Keys and her eight-year-old son Genesis backstage.
The singer took the time to write a message to her young fan telling him she was “so excited” when she heard he was coming along with his mother.
Cameron Diaz, Tiffany Haddish and Zoe Saldana watched the show from a VIP suite on Tuesday – the same night the Duchess of Sussex reportedly attended.
While it’s not known exactly where Meghan was reportedly in the stadium, she didn’t appear to be in the VIP tent – where Charlize Theron was happily filmed dancing along to some of the songs.

Meghan’s reported appearance at the concert comes two months after Taylor reportedly turned down an in-person dedication to appear on the Duchess’s podcast, which has since been canceled by Spotify.
The pop singer was asked by Meghan herself to appear on Archetypes, but she declined through her rep, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Meghan’s girlfriend Lucy Fraser played a key role in last year’s Netflix documentary about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Lucy Fraser, whose real name is Lucy Meadmore, left many viewers baffled about her identity when she appeared on the Netflix docuseries, but seemed to have a close relationship with the former Suits star, telling interviewers that she advised her on how to deal with the British press.
She also enjoyed Europe’s “single girl summer” with Meghan in 2016, when sun-soaked social media photos showed the friends drinking Campari soda and Aperol Spritz together and posing on a huge hotel bed with Lindsay Jill Roth.

Lucy (pictured in the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix documentary) attended Harry and Meghan’s wedding and was described as an ‘old friend of the bride’ on the official guest list
In a photo posted to social media, Lucy is described by Meghan as her “London bestie” as they lie on the bed together giggling in a hotel room.
She also compared Harry and Meghan to penguins because they keep their ‘friends for life’.
On screen, Lucy is described as a friend and discussed Meghan’s plans for a “single-girl summer” in 2016 – where she traveled through several countries.
Lucy – who has worked for several PR firms, including Freuds, before branching out and starting her own company – was also photographed at Harry and Meghan’s wedding in Windsor, walking into St George’s with the Duchess’s other close friend, Abigail Spencer and Priyanka Chopra.
She was described as an “old friend of the bride” on the official guest list.
The Duchess is said to have met Lucy in 2014 – when she asked her to help write her The Tig blog – and the two traveled to Costa Rica to write an article about the Central American country.
