Meghan Markle has finished filming her new Netflix show ‘celebrating the joys of cooking, gardening, entertaining, and friendship’, Hollywood insider claims

Meghan Markle has wrapped filming for her new cooking and homemaking show, a Hollywood source has revealed.

Royal fans are one step closer to Meghan’s lifestyle secrets as the Duchess of Sussex, 42, has wrapped filming for the untitled project in Montecito, which is being produced by Sony Pictures Television’s The Intellectual Property Corporation.

The series, which has yet to receive a title or air date, will “celebrate the joy of cooking, gardening, entertaining and friendship” and is part of Meghan and Harry’s $100 million Netflix deal with Netflix.

Speaking about the new project, a Hollywood source said The daily beast: ‘It all went well, and it’s on the bus.’

The show was filmed on an estate just over two miles from Meghan’s Montecito country home, which she and Prince Harry (39) share with their children Archie (2) and Lilibet (2).

Meghan was spotted in a Los Angeles park last week, where she took part in a photoshoot, sparking rumors of new material for the upcoming project.

The mother of two was caught on TikTok taking part in what fans suspected was a taping for a new project.

The clip shows the royal having the sleeves of her tracksuit altered by a stylist in Beverly Hills, near Alfred’s, a popular coffee shop beloved by celebrities.

However, the Hollywood insider said it was unlikely it had anything to do with the new project as the team already had “everything” they needed.

Filming for the project began days after Meghan sent exclusive jars of homemade jam from her brand, American Riviera Orchard, to her loved ones.

A film permit application obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com reveals that filming took place in two different locations.

In April, Meghan spent the day among the flowers at Florabundance, a florist located a 10-minute drive from Montecito in the California coastal town of Carpinteria.

The next day, production trucks were waiting in the driveway of a $5 million lot, located on eight acres of avocado and lemon groves in a gated community in Montecito, where filming took place.

Security vehicles guarded both entrances to the 4,500-square-foot home.

The estate is home to Tom and Sherrie Cipolla – both well-known figures in Montecito society and generous donors to several area charities, including the Storyteller Center – a therapeutic preschool for children facing adversity.

They have held fundraisers for the center in the same house where Meghan played house and tree.

Tom, 75, and his wife Sherrie, 69, parents of two adult children, have a real estate portfolio worth more than $20 million, consisting of two dozen properties in Los Angeles County and Santa Barbara.

The couple also runs a physical therapy practice, which generated revenues of more than $1.3 million last year.

When contacted by DailyMail.com, Sherrie Cipolla declined to comment on the purpose of the film crew staying in her home at the time.

Meghan’s show will be directed by Michael Steed, who also worked on Anthony Bourdain’s Emmy-winning film Parts Unknown. One of the people behind the camera is Leah Hariton, the showrunner of Selena Gomez’s HBO cooking show Selena + Chef.

According to the filming permit obtained by DailyMail.com, Alex Dandino, the production manager of the same show, is also involved in Meghan’s entry into the culinary world. This raises the possibility that she too will participate in a cooking evening with professional chefs.

The show is part of the couple’s bid to fulfill the $100 million deal they struck with Netflix in 2020.

At the time, they released a statement saying, “Our lives, both independently and as a couple, have taught us the power of the human spirit: courage, resilience and the need for connection.

‘Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, we aim to shine a spotlight on people and causes around the world. Our focus is on creating content that informs, but also offers hope.’

Meghan wants to sell a wide range of household products through her company American Riviera Orchard.

The endless list of products includes skin care, makeup, garden tools, scented candles and even dog food.
