The emerald-studded necklace was thought to be a tribute to her and Prince Harry’s son Archie as it featured his birthstone.

The stone is also said to inspire healing and friendship, adding a new dimension to the Duchess of Sussex’s choice for the mental health summit.

Meghan is known to be a fan of the elegant timepiece and released her own two-tone version in 2015 when ‘Suits’ was picked up for a third season.

Women’s clothing everyday reported that Prince Harry passed on his mother’s watch to Meghan, who wore it in public for the first time in 2020.

The Duchess also wore almost £5,000 worth of clothes in the ‘With Love, Meghan’ trailer – including a mix of high-street and high-end pieces from brands including Zara, J Crew, Ralph Lauren and Zimmermann.

The trailer for Meghan’s new series, which follows the release of Prince Harry’s critically panned polo documentary, was released on January 2 – with the Duchess posting the clip to her brand new Instagram account.
