Meghan Markle has been spotted enjoying yet another girly meal with friends in California as her birthday celebration continues.
The Duchess of Sussex, who turned 42 on Aug. 4, posed for a selfie with her friends Kadi Lee, a hairdresser to the stars, and author Cleo Wade in the garden of a restaurant.
In a moment posted to Kadi Lee’s Instagram account Highbrow Hippie, the Duchess beamed as she wrapped her arms around the two friends at the table.
Opting for an understated yet chic look, she looked effortlessly elegant in a black cami top and wore the Ariel Gordon Imperial Disc Pendant Necklace, which costs around $1,840 and can be engraved with names.
Kadi, who is believed to have been Meghan’s hair colorist since she moved back to California and settled in Montecito with Prince Harry, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, also counts other A-listers in her client list – including Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts and Sex and Kristin Davis from the city.

Kadi shared the photo of the three friends on Instagram and said, “Late (birthday) parties (with) these beautiful muses. I miss Serge Normant.’
Another in-demand hairdresser in New York City, Serge Normant styled the Duchess’s hair on her wedding day to Prince Harry in 2018.
It’s unclear whose birthday the trio was celebrating, but given that the Duchess of Sussex celebrated her 42nd birthday just 11 days ago, it may well have been a mini-party for her.
The girls’ day out follows reports that Meghan had another day with friends, watching Barbie at the cinema with A-list friends.
Page six reported that the mother-of-two went to see Barbie with friends, including Portia de Rossi, before spending the evening at the exclusive San Ysidro ranch in the Montecito hills.
Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex was spotted with Prince Harry as they dined at Tre Lune in Montecito for her 42nd birthday
Meghan visited the beautiful ranch earlier last year to film her Variety interview, in which she discussed how she and Harry had come to terms with Queen Elizabeth’s death and their upcoming Hollywood projects — ahead of the release of the couple’s Netflix documentary.
An onlooker, who was at the San Ysidro Ranch Hotel while Meghan and her friends celebrated, said, “Meghan went to congratulate the bride.”
A few days later, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked smitten as they shared a sweet date night at the rustic Italian Bistro Tre Lune in Montecito, with friends Heather Dorak, a yoga instructor, and Heather’s husband Matt Cohen.
Meghan looked glamorous as always in a strapless black and white Posse dress, priced at £188, paired with her beloved Cult Gaia bag and flat black strappy sandals as she visited the Tre Lune Italian Bistro in Montecito with Prince Harry.
The pair entered the popular eatery, where Blink-182 musician Travis Barker was seen earlier that night, and they were joined by their close friend Matt Cohen, husband of the Duchess of Sussex’s long-time friend Heather Dorak.
Meals at the Italian restaurant range from $24 (£19) to $61 (£48). Italian lovers can also choose from 24 different pasta and risotto meals, while a range of meat and fish dishes are on offer, from salmon fillets $44 (£37) to filet mignon steak $65 (£55).
Photos show the couple walking out the front of the restaurant before Meghan points to something in the distance. They then jump into a car that appears to be waiting for them.
The Duchess kept her jewelry simple for the outing, opting to go necklace-less to fully show off her cleavage in the strapless dress design. However, she opted for chunky gold hoop earrings and a stack of bracelets on one wrist to add a little sparkle.
This included her favorite $5,427 Cartier Love bracelet and what looked like her £3,736 Jennifer Meyer Gold Mini Bezel tennis bracelet.
