Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s daughter Princess Lilibet Diana has been christened in a small ceremony at their California home, it was revealed today.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hosted the religious ceremony conducted by Los Angeles Archbishop Reverend John Taylor on Friday.

A spokesperson for Harry and Meghan said: “I can confirm that Princess Lilibet Diana was baptized by the Archbishop of Los Angeles Reverend John Taylor on Friday, March 3.”

Royal journalist Omid Scobie, who is close to the Sussexes, reported that ‘King Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William, Princess Kate were invited but did not attend’.

People magazine reported that there were between 20 and 30 guests, including Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland and Lilibet’s godfather Tyler Perry.

The filmmaker was spotted last Friday visiting Harry and Meghan’s home in Montecito and at a Los Angeles airport where he boarded his private jet.

It is not known whether any other members of the royal family were present.
