According to inside sources, under normal circumstances, a memorandum would have been sent to the late queen seeking her approval amid “strict protocol” on filming and photography inside the palace.

The footage is believed to have been captured during the couple’s ‘farewell tour’ of the UK in March 2020, which included a large number of public engagements before returning to the US.
