Megan McKenna has revealed she had a freak accident involving a boiling jug of gravy.
The former TOWIE star, 30, took to Instagram on Thursday to reveal the extent of her facial burns after the sauce covered the side of her face.
The ‘nightmare’ accident happened when Megan’s mother Tanya tripped over her dog Daisy while carrying the gravy jug to fry.
Megan told her followers: ‘Before you go crazy, I had an accident as you can see.
“On the weekend I was at my mom’s and we were having dinner and she came over with the gravy jar.

‘Daisy (the dog) crawled under her feet, she tripped over Daisy, grabbed the gravy jar, but the gravy in it flopped out and landed on my head
“Honestly, you can’t even write it. It’s clearly on the side of my face.
‘It looks so much better now, it’s in the healing process so it’s a bit rancid. It’s on my nose. I have a huge blister behind my ear. My ear feels like it’s hanging off.’
Megan said her mother sprang into action, dragging her to the sink and spraying her with water for half an hour.
The reality star admitted, “If that hadn’t happened, I don’t know what it would have looked like.
“Thank God we were right by a sink and she knew what she was doing. It was a few houses of stress.
Explaining her silence on social media, Megan added, “But the reason I wanted to make a little video is because it’s my birthday in a few days and I want to post and I didn’t post and I didn’t want to message you with the text ‘oh my god, what happened’.
‘Absolute nightmare, but I’m on the mend and all is well. And I still like gravy.”

The adorable video showed Megan being surprised by Oliver as he got down on one knee after a romantic boat trip to a remote location in the Balkan country.
Oliver responded to the sweet post by saying, “I promise to love you for the rest of my life. I can’t wait to grow old with you, my future wife.
‘I love you. Forever. And always’.
