Megan Marx has received death threats and been targeted by ‘social justice warriors’ after speaking out against the ADHD ‘trend’.
The former Bachelor star outraged influencers last week when she suggested that some of the Australian celebrities who contracted the disorder in recent months may have been misdiagnosed or may be using the weight-loss drug.
In addition to being criticized by Abbie Chatfield and Em Rusciano, the 32-year-old said she has been receiving abusive direct messages from strangers ever since she spoke out.

Addressing the backlash on Instagram, Megan said: “If you follow me and you’re one of the many people who message me saying ‘they should have kept you in a cult’.” [or] sending me death threats, please just unfollow me and fuck off’.
She also criticized people for harassing others online “under the guise of being a social justice warrior” and said that many of her critics had tried to “dehumanize” her and that most of them had not even bothered to get the “full context”. ‘ from what she was saying.
‘I am left minded, I believe that people have the right to food and housing as a basic element and also the right to be free as individuals, whatever that means to you, including your opinions because your life experience is different from mine,’ he added.

Megan, who was diagnosed with ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) years ago, sparked an online firestorm last week when she questioned whether influencers might be being diagnosed en masse lately as part of a ‘trend’.
“I think ADHD diagnoses, there’s a chance that it’s a little bit of a trend,” he admitted on Instagram.
“People are seeking treatment for ADHD and it could be a plethora of other issues: depression, bipolar disorder, a bunch of different mood disorders that could be, it could be overstimulation from social media use, but this isn’t is discussed.I think it’s dodgy as f**k.
She continued: ‘Who doesn’t have trouble concentrating at work? I also wonder about all these influencers who are being diagnosed and medicated for ADHD who have suddenly lost a lot of weight. And they’re not talking about it. ADHD medication is basically methamphetamine: you lose your appetite.

‘Hi queen. Thank you very much for this unfounded and invalid opinion,’ Abbie fumed.
“Thank you so much for deciding that you think people are trying to take weight loss drugs because of ADHD drugs. Do you think it is the new influential drug to lose weight?
‘Do you know how fucking hard it is to get ADHD medication or get diagnosed? Do you know how hard it is? she asked.
Megan’s comments outraged several recently neurodivergent celebrities, including Abbie Chatfield, who slammed Megan in a series of lengthy videos on social media.
The former Bachelor star went on to say that Megan was “adding stigma” as women in particular are “underdiagnosed.”
He also said the blonde beauty’s comments were both “capable and very offensive.”
