Megan Gale, 48, has barely aged a day from her days of being the face of David Jones as she collaborates with department store on special project
She is one of Australia’s most successful models.
And Megan Gale still looked incredibly youthful as she visited the Like No Other – Celebrating an Australian Icon exhibition on Tuesday and the unveiling of David Jones transferring its archives to the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
The 48-year-old supermodel and actress attended the event at David Jones’ flagship store on Elizabeth Street, where the luxury department store’s 186-year history was donated to the 143-year-old museum.
Megan wore an off-white $2,500 Maticevski bodycon dress with oversized sleeves, a fitted silhouette, ruched under the bust and an ankle-length pencil skirt.
She paired her look with light brown pumps and large gold earrings.
Her dark brown hair was styled in her signature side parting and had a soft blow-dry with bouncy curls.
Megan has barely aged a day since she was the face of David Jones from 2001 to 2014.
The supermodel opened and closed the show for David Jones’ autumn/winter collection at the flagship store in Melbourne in March.

Since stepping out of the spotlight, Megan has been focusing on her family life with her partner Shaun Hampson.
Megan and Shaun, who live together in Melbourne, met in 2011 and got engaged in 2017. They have a daughter Rosie and a son River.
Tuesday’s event marked the beginning of a partnership between David Jones and Powerhouse, which will also see David Jones and Powerhouse invest in the next generation of Australian designers through the creation of the David Jones and Powerhouse Australian Design Commission.

The annual committee will invest $300,000 over the next three years in Australian designers to create new work that draws on David Jones’ archive.
“David Jones shares a foundation of innovation and progress with the Powerhouse, and a commitment to preserving and celebrating the stories that have helped shape the cultural fabric of our communities,” said Scott Fyfe, CEO of David Jones.
‘As we explored our archives, we were immersed in the inspiring stories that have shaped David Jones into an iconic Australian institution; every artefact and document tells a story of heritage, innovation and our commitment to excellence.

‘Our partnership with the Powerhouse and the donation of our special archive is important and reflects our commitment to preserving the history of retail and the wider cultural landscape.
‘The Powerhouse already houses historic fashion, decorative arts and the design archives of renowned mid-century designers. We believe that the Powerhouse is the ideal repository to preserve and honour the David Jones archive for all time.’
David Jones customers and the general public will have the opportunity to view these historic pieces at the flagship Elizabeth Street store from Tuesday 30th July until 25th August in The Gallery on Level 8.
