“These poems are written in an effort to banish the disease that has taken root in me through my silence,” she began.

“All my life I have carried the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the secrets of their sins,” she said.

“My freedom lives in these pages and I hope my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and identity by using their voices to illuminate what has been buried, but not forgotten, in darkness.”

Machine Gun Kelly, 33, was one of the first to comment on the announcement with “proud of you,” followed by a flame emoji.

“I’ve never wanted to buy a book written by a celebrity until today,” one fan admitted.

Someone who seemed connected to the publication said: ‘These poems have made me cry, laugh and hurt. So honored to be working on this powerful collection and can’t wait for the world to read it!’

The description of the book on the Simon and Schuster website read: ‘Megan Fox showcases her wicked humor in a gut-wrenching and dark book of poetry.

“In more than seventy poems, Fox describes all the ways we fit ourselves into the mold of those we love, even if it means losing ourselves in the process.”

Although Megan is considered by many to be one of the most beautiful women in the world, according to an interview with Sports illustrated for the publication’s infamous Swimsuit Issue, the Johnny and Clyde star revealed her lifelong battle with body dysmorphia.

“I never see myself the way other people see me,” said the mother of three who shares Noah, 10, Bodhi, nine, and Journey, six, with ex-husband Brian Austin Green, 50.

“There was never a point in my life where I loved my body, never, never.”

The Transformers star spoke about her childhood in Tennessee, revealing, “When I was little it was an obsession I had, like ‘but I should look this way’, and why I was aware of my body that I so young am not sure.’

“It was definitely not environmentally friendly because I grew up in a very religious environment where bodies weren’t even acknowledged.”
