Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly won’t be tying the knot any time soon, as the pair have reportedly “put on hold” on their wedding plans as they “slowly” reconcile.

The on-again pair recently attended the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue launch party – where they made their first public appearance together since the alleged breakup of their relationship.

And the Bloody Valentine rocker appears to be working on his communication skills, as MGK left his Manhattan hotel on Friday with what appeared to be a talking stick.

With his wet pink hair wrapped in a white turban, the former rapper grabbed a bizarre wooden stick and sauntered onto the sidewalk for all to see.

The stunt comes after sources have told it PEOPLE that the Jennifer’s Body bombshell, 37, doesn’t make it easy for the MGK, 33.

“He’s doing what he can to get her back, and she’s making him work for it,” an insider revealed.

“They are slowly working on reconciliation but he is still completely in the dog house,” the source added.

The pair’s inner circle is reportedly not betting on success when it comes to Fox and MGK making it to the altar.

“It’s still an unhealthy dynamic though,” the insider said, “and their friends just don’t see this lasting.”

But alas, hope remains: “He has a lot to prove, and he doesn’t want to give her up. He is great with her kids and super handy. It’s a work in progress.’

The pair didn’t walk the red carpet together at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit bash, but they were captured having a sweet moment in the wings.

In recent months, there have been rumors that the sex symbol’s engagement to Kelly was on the rocks following allegations that the rapper-turned-rocker had been unfaithful.

They were last seen together in photos obtained by DailyMail.com early last month while vacationing in Hawaii.

The couple started dating in May 2020 after Megan split from her husband of 10 years and the father of her three children, Brian Austin Green. MGK proposed to the Transformers star in January.

They met on Randall Emmett’s box office bombshell, Midnight in the Switchgrass, and the pair gushed over each other when they sat down with the disgraced director and his then-fiancé Lala Kent for a 2020 episode of their podcast Give Them Lala… With Randall.
