Meet the stunning 6’3 basketball star making mega bucks while showcasing her life on social media

This stunning six-foot basketball star has taken the world by storm, both on and off the court – and she’s showing no signs of slowing down.

Anna Camden, of Downingtown, first came to the limelight as a forward for the Penn State Lady Lions basketball team.

But the 22-year-old has now gained an even larger army of fans by candidly portraying her “roller-coaster life” on social media.

The athlete now hopes to channel her online fame to become a sports reporter and she is already making huge waves in the media world.

Anna’s basketball career began when she joined the Lady Lions and became a consistent starter during her four-year stint on the team.

But earlier this month, she announced she would be looking for another transfer, capping off her impressive Penn State career with averages of 5.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per game in 111 games.

In a statement about starting a new venture, she wrote, “I will forever bleed blue and white and cheer on the lions of Nittany. Happy Valley will always be my home.

That being said, every cub eventually leaves the house. After graduating this spring, I will be doing my fifth year elsewhere.

“I can’t thank the community enough for hugging me during these four years and I will miss you all more than you could ever comprehend.

Every hug, high five and smile will stay with me forever.

“To my teammates… give them hell. I will always keep my fingers crossed for you and am just one phone call away. Family for life.’

It’s not yet confirmed where Anna is headed, but she seems eager to take on the challenge.

In addition to her own career, she also hopes to inspire a whole new generation of athletes.

In September 2022, she led a YMCA children’s basketball training camp and thanked those around her for making her “vision” come to life.

The rising star has gained an army of fans with candid insights into her ‘roller coaster life’

Anna’s candor has endeared her to an army of fans outside the basketball world, who are now eagerly watching her rise to stardom.

She currently has more than 257,000 followers on TikTok and 75,000 followers on Instagram.

The athlete has left social media users mesmerized with her regular behind-the-scenes sports content, including from the locker rooms.

But the avid sportswoman isn’t afraid to open up.

Last year she wrote about how she sometimes struggled to live in the present.

She shared footage from Penn State’s Sport Business Conference, where she was a guest speaker, and wrote, “Not in the picture: The three nervous breakdowns I had this week.

“One thing I struggle with is being where my feet are; my mind is constantly in ‘go’ mode.

“I’m slowly learning that we often live in answered prayers and don’t even realize it.”

She concluded by addressing her followers directly, adding, “This is your reminder to take a few deep breaths, write down 10 things you are thankful for and enjoy the time of life where you are at the moment.’

Similarly, she posted a photo of herself attending the NIL Summit awards and wrote, “Complete transparency…half of this event I was anxious, nauseous and questioning everything I said to every individual with whom I spoke (yes, it’s really true).

“All week I’ve had people come up to me and say things like ‘you’re so confident,’ ‘you’re so good at talking to everyone,’ and ‘you’re just a natural at these things.’ I’m telling you…absolutely nobody has everything together all the time, no matter how calm they seem.”

Anna, who is a huge fan of country music, is also very outspoken about her faith, often quoting bible verses and even sharing a video of her being rebaptized.

The basketball star is now hoping to make her way into the media world – and already has several podcast and TV appearances to her credit

Anna is now trying to turn her online presence into a thriving career in the media industry – and she’s already off to an impressive start.

In 2021, she launched her own podcast – called ‘Courtside with Camden’ – to share ‘a real conversation about the roller coaster that is life and everything that comes with it’.

Announcing the launch on Instagram, she wrote, “When I started Courtside I had no idea what I was doing, but I decided to jump first and figure out how to fly later.

“I’m learning every day, but this feels like a pretty cool milestone.”

And it looks like the venture is going from strength to strength as it has since been joined by a slew of athletes, including NFL players Jahan Dotson and Trace McSorley.

But she didn’t stop there – and has since appeared as a special guest on other podcasts, including for the Limitless brand.

In it, she touched on why representation matters as she tries to use her platform for good.

The basketball player told the hosts, “You have little girls growing up thinking it’s not cool to be a female athlete. That’s so mean. That’s awful.

‘You have people who argue against equality because not much is done in women’s sports, would you like to do women’s sports?

“Want to read a commentary section and then play women’s sport? Probably not.

“So I think it’s so important because representation matters.”

Anna is also not afraid to get in front of the camera and is a regular sports anchor on Penn State University’s Emmy Award winning show Center County Report.

The athlete has shared a selection of snapshots from the studio as she prepares to go live.

And it’s clear that broadcasting is the direction she wants to take, having uploaded a set of photos with a caption reading, “I could get used to this.”
