When Kylie McDevitt swiped on a Tinder profile in college, she thought it was cat fishing. After looking up the person in the photos, she realized the profile claimed to belong to a Philadelphia Eagles football player.
Kylie accepted an invitation from the Tinder match to meet at a bar, which is when she met Jason Kelce for the first time.
The date went terribly.
'Well, his profile at the time was something along the lines of; I want to have deep, meaningful conversations and talk about getting married and having kids or something like that,” she said on the New Heights podcast. “He fell asleep on the bar table 45 minutes after I got there because he was too drunk.”
Years later, Kylie and Jason have a happy family with three children – whose lives are constantly on display these days through documentaries and the media's fascination with the relationship between Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

The family's newfound attention comes amid Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift's romance
Jason has been with his wife, Kylie McDevitt, since 2015 when they met on the app Tinder
Kylie and the rest of her half of the Kelce family didn't expect to become stars, but since Travis' relationship with Swift took the world by storm, they've been in the media spotlight.
“It's not exactly my thing to be in the spotlight or in front of a camera,” Kylie said in Kansas City earlier this month
'I studied communications at university. I like to back it up, that's my bread and butter,” she said of the cameras.
While her husband is a superstar in the NFL, he obviously plays a position (offensive line) that isn't exactly a position of flash and fame.
After the bad first date, Jason called her the next day and asked if he could have a second chance. Kylie agreed, saying he “did much better” the second time.
The couple made their relationship 'Instagram official' in November 2015 – with Kylie captioning it: 'Thank God you swiped right too'.
Fast forward to April 2018, when the Kelce's tied the knot at a local hotel in Philadelphia, where Jason played football and Kylie grew up.

Just over a year later, the Kelce's welcomed their first cub to the family: a girl named Wyatt Elizabeth Kelce.
Jason told reporters that they initially planned on Wyatt as a boy's name and Charlotte as a girl's name. But after a friend named their daughter Charlotte, the Kelce's were convinced by others that Wyatt was a great name “regardless” of their gender.
Wyatt became an older sister on March 4, 2021 when Elliotte Ray Kelce was born.
While Kylie was pregnant with a third child – Bennett Llewellyn – Jason was busy preparing to play Travis in Super Bowl LVII.
She was so nervous about giving birth during the game that she brought her two gynecologists to the Super Bowl just to be safe.
Kylie didn't give birth in Arizona, but she didn't have to wait long – Bennett was delivered 11 days later, on February 23 this year.

Jason was there, but Kylie caught him napping (literally) and jokingly called him a “huge support” on Tik Tok.
As a father, Kylie says Jason is a very loving father, but his love of showing the kids the Disney Aladdin is getting on her nerves.
Since joining the Kelce family, Kylie has had nothing but good things to say about the close-knit group.
“At first I was on the outside because I'm married,” she told ABC in an interview
“The most amazing thing is that I was welcomed with open arms.”

Kylie even gave Travis some dating advice (before he dated Taylor) about Tinder profile pictures.
“Ky, do you think I'm 'stache or no 'stache?” should do,” Travis asked.
She joked that her answer would “sound a little harsh” before telling him to use the mustache photo, “because if they swipe right at worst, they'll love you at best.”
But Travis doesn't have to worry about that now that he's dating Swift, a Philly native, live Kylie.
Although their 'Love Story' is the subject of relentless gossip and speculation, they can find an image of stability, happiness and perhaps inspiration in Jason, Kylie and the rest of this part of the Kelce clan.
